You're mentally confused, again--"remembering" stuff that never happened.

Crossfire Hurricane was started by FBI director James Comey at the end of July. He testified that he didn't tell Obama about it until late in the year 2016, when Obama was a short-timer in office. The Steele Dossier never made its way to FBI HQ until September, so it didn't have any role in starting Crossfire Hurricane. Clapper did NOT say that Obama ordered Crossfire Hurricane. He testified that Obama ordered the Intelligence Community to conduct an all agency assessment of the extent of Russian meddling in the 2016 election. The assessment was targeted at the Russians, not at Trump.

Clapper is talking about an assessment that Obama asked the intelligence community to carry out beginning in early December 2016, around the time the CIA had concluded Russia meddled in the election to help Trump and hurt Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

But Obama’s request for an intelligence deep-dive into Russian meddling doesn't support what the headline claims. The article is referring to a different aspect of the Russia probe, which didn’t emerge until several months after Obama left the White House.

The key distinction here is the difference between the intelligence community assessment Obama ordered in December 2016, and the appointment in May 2017 of Robert Mueller as special counsel. Mueller was tasked to investigate both Moscow’s election interference as well as ties between Russia and the Trump campaign.

I don't see any collaborative effort between Obama and the Clinton foundation to effectively assassinate Trump's reputation, nor Obama endorsing her espionage tactics. His objective was identifying foreign interference.

I feel I'd be a fool to think all it would take is a GOP majority to start the justice ball rolling. If the rolls were reversed, heads would already be on the chopping block. The majority of Republican politicians are on the same page as the democrats, or they're all a bunch of wusses.
Remember the months of looting and rioting over the results of the 2016 election, with the likes of Pelosi and Waters leading the charge? I do.
Remember all the Republicans leading the charge over the 2019 election? I don't.
I can't stick my head far enough in the sand to pretend there's a difference between party goals after Trump's presidency and Biden's 'election'.
I believe there is a small handful of high-level politicians on both sides of the aisle who actually do have the best interests of the US and its citizen at heart, but are far too small a minority to make a difference. I think they're only allowed to remain in the game as a mouthpiece to 'prove' there's a difference in parties.

Actions speak louder than words, and I'm not seeing much difference in what the parties vote and stand for. It's fun to think there will be accountability, though.

It's proven he was told Hillary was cooking up a fake scandal scheme involving Russia. He then knew exactly what he was told Hillary would do, happened. He then did nothing to investigate whether Hillary was behind it, and worked on investigating Trump.
