Wow. All of this week the News of 'Will Smith' this and 'Will Smith' that.

He apologized to Chris Rock. Chris Rock forgave him as far as I can tell.

Shouldn't the rest of us just let it go like Chris Rock?

It doesn't matter to me that he hit someone, why does he need my forgiveness. People hit other people quite often in this world, I don't need to forgive all those people, the one they wronged is the only one that needs to forgive them.

These are actors, dragging this on will just get more people watching the oscars, their audience was starting to disappear. It is all about drawing our attention. Who cares if a movie star hit another movie star. Why do we have to forgive them?

I never understood why the entertainment community felt the need to give themselves trophies.

For the Oscars crap? It didn't happen to me, so none of my business. For consistently being in some awful movies? Nope.

I've nearly forgotten that he did anything.

There is a deep seated problem in Wills marriage.

It is far more serious then slapping his friend.

I would have liked to see him get tazed and handcuffed during the Oscars, then dragged away and charges brought upon him, besides the civil lawsuit and his Oscar taken away.

With the horrible state the world is in right now, I guess people need a little diversion. It's sad to see a grown man publicly groveling after the situation had already been worked out between the two of them, and even sadder that the public is acting like a pack of wolves making the situation a thousand time worse than it was.

That tells me there just might be some truth to it having been pre-arranged. Pfizer sponsored the ceremony this year and began a campaign in earnest the week before to market their new alopecia drug. It's rumored that security was told there would be 'some kind of incident' and they were to stand down. That makes even more sense than the 'slap' that looked a little staged, to me. I've been slapped across the face that hard before, and I don't think the slap or reactions was real.

People starting to pack like animals against one person for something which is none of their business over something of this level is the really concerning part. How much further is society going to devolve?

Yup, I'm a pacifist myself but Chris Rock deserved it. They've both appologised and burried the hatchet, what's the big deal?

If anything I have more respect for Will Smith, it took serious balls to do that on stage with millions watching and he had the restraint to only bitch slap him once and not beat him up.

An actor slapped a comedian at an award ceremony no one watches.

He didn't slap me so what's to forgive.

I forgive him for being a frustrated cuck, some guys just can't let go of their toxic relationship. Shouldn't have let it out publicly like that though, all that is begun in anger ends in shame, or something.

Rock owes him one, IMO, if they are to move forward as friends, bro code dictates Rock gets a free shot.

Here is a screen grab of Jada dated 2/28/2022. Seems like she had a normal amount of hair before she decided to sport a buzz cut to the oscars a month later. The alopecia thing seems like a weak excuse and I don't see the harm in the joke: "You shaved your head, you must be working on GI Jane 2?", was the basic gist of it. Maybe you can point out the malice in it?
