That is quite splendid. Wouldn't it be funny though if the dolphin was actually harassing the whale the way those small birds attack crows or Ravens when they get near their nests??

All things considered, you're probably right.

You small critter, you.

Sparrows harassing raptors is a common sight. This sort of thing, not so much.

The whale poses no threat and dolphins have no nest to protect.

Looks like 3/4 time, to me.

At first, I thought the thread title was, 'While Dancing With Dolphin'.

I thought maybe it was going to be a video of YOU swimming with a dolphin....

Probably just some Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy cosplayers having a whale of a time.

SO much we don't understand or appreciate, great video.

Haven't seen you for a while, glad you're back.

Was going to purposely bait threads with bad science to tempt you out of hiding.

Wonderfull creatures , always amazed me how such funny looking creatures like dolphins are so smart.

In Laguna Brazil bottlenose dolphins help local fishers with catching fish by chasing them into the nets , in return the dolphins have easy pickings on the fish that escape the nets.

That second commentator cracks me up. At 17 seconds after the narrator asks us to imagine what's going on when the cameras are not on them and you can hear his wing man say "Ooh."

I love everything about whales. Check out the real-life Moby Dick which helped prompt Melville's most famous whale:

This video makes me feel very happy. Those two have eachother in the great oceans. Friends come in all shapes, sizes and species.

Phage, I'm happy to see you posting after so long. We were getting worried.

Thanks for posting this.

Who knows with the whale, but I am pretty sure that dolphins are one of those critters that will find a way to make a toy out of anything.

My cat is one such critter--unless of course said object was meant to be and marketed as a toy in which case he's not interested.
