BEIJING: China on Friday (Dec 17) said that it would take all necessary measures to safeguard its institutions and enterprises after the United States Senate passed a new law barring imports from the Xinjiang region unless businesses can prove that they were produced without forced labour.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said that the measure approved on Thursday “indicates that the US has no scruples about smearing China by every means".

I though Brandon was owned by China? I guess not.

These sanctions seem appropriate to discourage the use of forced labour.

It would be pretty hard to spin him refusing to sign it, but it wouldn't be hard for Chinese companies to get around it.
Oooh fake documentation!
Might as well say assembled in the USA

This is merealy the USA trying to look good in the Muslim world. Jinjang is a real big deal with them, can remember a few years ago listening to a British muslim saying how the Chinese occupied much of traditional muslim areas including a fair slice of Kashmir and how in the future that region was destined to become the new area for terror attacks and insirection.

Being honest and realistic about it Washington has had a pretty bad last few decades when the average person in the muslim world looks on. Seen as backing Israeli imperial activities, Crusaders following Kuwaits then onto 9/11 and Afghan, Iraq 2 etc plus also controlling economies placed rulers etc along with all the firepower necessary to keep them in play.

What better way to get back on side with something like 1/4 of the people of Planet Earth than to in the media come to their aid through taking on their oppressors the Chinese? That's the way I see it anyway

Seem appropriate? So you are saying they will work to stop the genocide? I mean that's what appropriate means, right?
