Remember that you can twist the Season theme to where ever your mind takes you, (within the T&C's of course.. lol).

Wait...I just realised the theme doesn't specify which season...which means it could mean any season!

But still, it might be best to write about winter, since it is winter, unless if you live in somewhere like Australia, which means you could write about summer!

Maybe I'm secretly psychic but I don't know...and someone's going to knock down my door and burst in telling me I'm psychic...and then I will say "It's taken you long enough then."

I'm so glad to see this theme has garnered interest and inspiration. I'm working on a story of my own and will be posting in the coming days.
Good luck to all the participants and to anyone who is a non writer and has never entered before, why not give it a shot? You just never know where a simple story prompt may take you.

This sounds like fun! I'll enjoy reading all your offerings.

Can you submit more than one entry? Looking through the last contest thread (Legends of the Fall) people were encouraged to, but I was just checking for this contest.

Only the fifth and we have until January but we already have about ten entries.

You guys know that all these entries are just wakening a muse, right? Right?

Anyway, although I originally didn't plan on doing a story this time, one just had to get out. Hope everyone likes it. It's a little long (three posts) and the darn character limit and me didn't see eye to eye, but...

Key-no - TTS2022 - Just For Fun

The setting is at Christmastime... that was originally intended to be a major part of the mystique, but I don't think that part came through very well. Oh, well, I tried.

And of course this is not part of the competition, just a dumb old redneck having some fun.
