I don't think there is any information on this yet. So say all of congress decides to to a forensic investigation in to the 2020 elections on Jan 2024 and then they say. Well Trump won the 2020 election so therefore he can't run for president because he served his two terms.

Is there a way the can do this at a later date say an october suprise in 2024?

What are your thoughts on this? Then the powers that be can put in whoever they want with no resistance.

I think you have to actually serve the term for it to count.

I don't think trump will run in 24 but he will be out campaigning for his chosen few at big GOP sponsored rallies because he still craves the attention.

Will this help his chosen one's...time will tell.

I'm not sure that he will get through the primaries.

A lot of Republicans voted for Biden because they didn't want Trump, not because they'd suddenly gone blue.

I don't think that he will get the nomination again. He's damaged goods, the Democrats already know how to fight him.

Surely the verdict "Trump won the 2020 election" would carry too many unwanted side-effects to be used as a ploy by his opponents. E.g wouldn't it put him back in charge until 2024?

Interesting note, in VA, Biden, Kamala and Obama stumped in person for Mcaulif.

We see how that turned out.

Yes, by cheating.

Is that a true win in your book?

Is cheating winning? Maybe in today’s clown world.

Wasn't sworn in so he never served the term.

I wouldn't put anything past any of the critters...

But I don't think this would work for the same reason Trump cannot be "reinstated" even if it were found that he was the true winner: The legal process of state certification, electoral college voting and certification, and the inauguration effectively make Biden the president -- whether he legitimately won or not.

Having said that though, the way the 22nd Amendment is worded, they might have a case by arguing Trump was "elected" by the people:

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

Technically, our presidents are "elected" by the Electoral College -- not the people. And the 2020 Electoral College did in fact and in deed vote for Biden.

I suppose it would come down to how they define "elected."

Let's hope he doesn't run. He proved in his first term that he was absolutely useless.

Do the rich really need more tax breaks?
Does the financial system really need more deregulation?

Nah, i don't think so either.

But McAuliffe didn't lose because the majority of voters were sick and tired of the insane, radical, wokeism. He lost because of racism!

I doubt you will have to worry about this. Trump lost in 2020.

He'd have to be sworn in before this term is half over. If he serves less than half a term, it doesn't count toward the two term limit

They will try to say he can't run because he was impeached or some how disqualify him by hanging Jan. 6th on him.

If the GOP takes congress and the senate in 2022 J6 and the impeachment will not matter.
And if they do Biden will also not be worth much that in why they ape pushing all their radical bills through because they know after 2022 they will not get anything through.

I don't agree with you often, but, you are exactly right. The Liberal Socialists got a scare after 9/11. The Democratic Party was irrelevant for quite a while. That's the reason for the 2008 election fiasco. They've ramped it up since then.
