I understand, its 1987, and wikipedia is for suckers.

I remember that being thrown around here in Colorado a while back. It's just a serious pressure change and it used to be described as being a drastic pressure change. These days, however, I have noticed they feel the need to sensationalize everything, even the weather. Urgent drama, super serious, oh no the sky is falling type attitudes because it increases people's viewership. The problem with all of this is that we only have so much capacity for doom, gloom, and things of an urgent emergency situation. If everything is an emergency or catastrophically urgent then after a while nothing is, we become desensitized to it all and won't react when we really need to. Maybe that is by design, who knows.
