I'm finally getting used to reaching for DuckDuckGo instead of Gaggle.

I've been told Gaggle's bad, very bad...

But what about Oracle?

Oracle has an interesting line up in its board of directors. Look and see.

Getting back to DDG...I was bored earlier, noticed a "B+" in the search/address bar....clicked it....saw something very interesting...

Nope, not going to go into details because they say the devil's in there and I would like to not feed the trash bin.

DDG says Gaggle and Oracle are tracking, business as usual, while I'm surfing threads and making comments. Gaggle being the dominant tracker, according to DDG.

I had no knowledge of Oracle, so being the bored bunny I am I used GAGGLE to research Oracle. And that's when I discovered Leon's name....

Anywho, hope everyone's having a great weekend. No need to worry or be inquisitive as to Leon's whereabouts and whatchamacallits, he's fine, just tell him hello right quick.

Hey Leon,

👉👌.

Regardless of what you use, unless you go to extreme measures, everything you type and view is tracked. It has been that way for 2 decades.

And I know that. I know about the billion dollar facility in Utah.

But it's the names that get my attention.

Oracle....

And not just these clever ironic plays on words for business names but the people involved as well.

Leon Panetta...

See what I mean? I find it fascinating, amusing, and completely unironic.

Tracked and all data kept on an Oracle Database ;-)

Guess that's why it's called a "web", huh?

More ironic wordplay from one of many eggheads.

So I went back to check the trackers, see if it was the same.

Clicked on Oracle's supposed link, and I get this...

"A world of dew,
and within every dewdrop
a world of struggle"

That's all there is, see for yourselves...

s7.addthis.com XXXXXDONOTXXXXX

The time is 2:31 a.m. EST. I'm tripping I guess, over nada. 2:32 a.m.

Edit: wait wait wait, Google said this about that .com up there..

"S7.addthis.com is a malicious webpage adware that redirects its users to the untrustworthy and irrelevant websites. ... S7.addthis.com is designed to spy on the user's browsing activities. It can track the search history, search queries, geolocation of the victim.Jul 11, 2020"

So Oracle uses malware?

Two things I stay away from, dark/deep interweb and viruses, so can someone explain if any body can say they're Oracle, would not DDG verify or is it something a search engine has no control over because it supposedly prevents Oracle, Google, and Twitter from tracking users of their search engine?

I don't get the technical # of it, but I'm still interested in Leon Panetta and his role at Oracle. Just can't let it go.
