FOX NEWS: We Report, You Decide

The host of Fox News talkshow, biggest star Bill O'Reilly, has hosted Jeremy Glick, anti-war protestor, who's father was killed in 911 tragedy. For Bill O'Reilly that was something unheard of! Has he no respect for the deceased father? Then he replied that his dad was anti war too, then mister O'Reilly freaked. Here is a transcript:

O'REILLY: I hope your mother is not watching this because you -- that's it. I'm not going to say anymore.
GLICK: OK.
O'REILLY: In respect for your father...
GLICK: On September 14, do you want to know what I'm doing?
O'REILLY: Shut up. Shut up.
GLICK: Oh, please don't tell me to shut up.
O'REILLY: As respect -- as respect -- in respect for your father, who was a Port Authority worker, a fine American, who got killed unnecessarily by barbarians...
GLICK: By radical extremists who were trained by this government...
O'REILLY: Out of respect for him...
GLICK: ... not the people of America.
O'REILLY: ... I'm not going to...
GLICK: ... The people of the ruling class, the small minority.
O'REILLY: Cut his mic. I'm not going to dress you down anymore, out of respect for your father. We will be back in a moment with more of THE FACTOR.
GLICK: That means we're done?

On Fox nobody is against War.

If Bush would say that US needs to attack Albania, Fox would immediatly agree. If it was the Fox way, America should be at war all the time. More that just one war; one hundred wars! When you watch Fox you really think that America is in one hundred wars at a time, and all foreigners are terrorists with a nuclear bomb between their teeth. If you would say that Fox News was the biggest fan of Bush & his wars, you would underestimate them. Bush lied, hmm, practicly about everything, but Fox even lied about those lies. He who does not know Fox, does not know the meaning of the word war propaganda. Lets call this phenomenon foxing. Fox has changed war and war propaganda in a Show and redefined the meaning of 1st Amendment of the American Constitution:
Fox News has the Right to Lie.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Fox, a Weapon of Mass Deception, has finally found their weapons of mass destruction, and it was in a form of a documentary called:
Outfoxed - Rupert Murdoch's War On Journalism, made by controversial Robert Greenwald, founded by Gerorge Soros. He told all the truth about the war in Iraq, and that slapped Fox around and revealed what it really is: the Word of Bush, MTV of the extreme-right, pure propaganda machine of the republican party, masked as a legitimate, independant, and ofcourse "FAIR AND BALANCED", which Fox likes to say often, news station. Outfoxed is a SHOCKumenary for Fox TV, which wont get to see alot of cinema premiers (but you can see it on private MoveOn parties).

Like Michael Moore that documented all antibush sub-culture in his movie Fahrenheit 9-11, Robert Greenwald documented all antifox sub-culture in his movie Outfoxed - a bestiary of patological lies, bluffs, dissinformations, spinns, manipulations and fabrications. And for this machine to work perfectly, big bosses of Fox instruct their "journalists" not to report about any fallen US soldires, or about the siege of Fallujah ("Some media will soon start to warn you about how the war in Iraq is really brutal - we wont!"). And please dont call our marines snipers, call them "sharpshooters". Word Sniper has a bad sound to it and fits the terrorists. When watching Fox, everything is under control. And Bush logic:"He Who Is Not With US, Is Against US!" here gets a new twist:

The year 1984 startd in 1996 when Rupert Murdoch, australian media magnat, founded cabel station Fox News and for the Big Boss put ex-Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Bush Senior consultant - Roger Ailes, a Fanatical Hardcore Republican. Ailes saw revenge to democrats in Fox News, and in 1988 he was the main man in shooting down the election of democratic candidate Michael Dukakis. Ailes wanted a clean TV - a TV without any liberal and independant journalists, who vote democrats! Yep, Fox became Mein Kampf of Roger Ailes.

Fox is visually very attractive - polished, elegant, dynamic, with stunning graphics. Looks very sexy. But all that is only a cover-up, a mask, that is hiding 24 hour parade of conservative commentaries, experts, analists, insiders, "fired" republicans (Newt Gingrich), TV celebrities (Geraldo Riviera), ex-war criminals (Mark Fuhrman) and Alan Colmes, and ex-comic, now playing the role of liberal impersonator. When the "Washington sniper" was terrorising the people of America, Fox hired David Berkowitz ("Son of Sam"), a serial killer to report. From prison.

Fox News reported about war even before the war. They reported that Saddam will bomb the dams and flood Iraq, or that he will detonate the napalm and that he will use chemical weapons on US troops. Thats why Fox News journalists reported with gas masks from Iraq. You didnt understand what they were saying, but what the hell! Its the effect that counts! Look Bush has right - Saddam has weapons of mass destruction! And look, Fox then found all sort of WMD's in Iraq; they found soliders with barrels filled with chemical weapons, then rockets full of sarin, then plutonium, then mobile laboratories. Bush couldnt find WMD's in Iraq, so Fox found them for him! And when other media denied reports about any WMD's and when even the White House denied reports of WMD's In Iraq, Fox didnt deny. Fox didnt deny the report that all 55 ex-Iraqi leaders are hiding in Syria; they found most of them in Iraq. And that Iraq got uranium from Nigeria. On 9th of April 2003, when the statue of Saddam was being demolished, Fox reported HUGE CROWDS; there were maybe 200 people and US soldiers.

And the result is scary. Most of the Fox viewers belive that Saddam is connected to Al-Qaeda and that US troops found WMD's in Iraq. Manipulation was sussessfull! Yes, Americans that watch Fox News are completely disinformed. For mind control and brainwashing you dont need CIA anymore - you just need Fox TV!

Most of the Fox viewers belive that most of the countries are "with America" - that most of them supported the US invasion of Iraq. Not counting France ofcourse! They stabbed USA in the back in cowardly betrayed them! Fox declared war on France; they warned people not to go to France for hollidays, they warned people not to buy french products and renamed Jacques Chirac into Jacques Iraq. They even connected France with the "Axis of Evil", saying that he supports "that palestinian thing", yes those "terrorists". Yes, France is the new punching bag of the Fox TV. They have proof that in french embassies, iraqi documents are being destroyed; they keept repeating the tape from 1975 when Saddam met Chirac in Paris. Voila! We have proof that France and Iraq are one! Ofcourse they forgot to mention that Donald Rumsfeld visited Saddam in 1983. And they forgot to mention that all the mass graves and use of chemical weapons in Iraq happened when Saddam was in bed with Reagain and Bush Senior. If you ask Fox who supported Saddam, who has sold chemical weapons to the Baghdad Monster, it was France and not America. How surrealistic! Gone are the times of Cuban Chrisis, when French president De Gaulle waved his hand over the photographs with russian missiles in Cuba, delivered by messenger from J.F.Kennedy and said:"I dont need any proof! Just tell me what France has to do!"

Even Jerry Springer is more OBJECTIVE then Fox. No, truth has no room on Fox. Last year Juliet Huddy, one of Fox reporters asked colonel David Hunt:"Hey, why dont our boys blow up Al-Jazeera TV station?" - it proved that she thought that Al-Jazeera is an Iraqi TV station. But even the fact, that a reporter asks such a question, asking a soldier to blow up a fellow news agency, is really SCARY. And also scary is the fact, that America took Fox News as a legitemate, almost mainstream TV station, and that Fox is the King of the News and is with its pro-republican, patriotic, demagogic format, converting other news stations, such as MSNBC.

I agree totally. It doesn't upset me that they are blatently biased. It upsets me how they repeatedly and annoyingly claim to be "fair and balanced" while being anything but.

Bill is a registered republican, if you read something called a book you would know. There is a picture of it in Franken's book Lies and the Lying Liers who tell them. And it isn't Franken saying Bill is a registered republican, but a PICTURE of Bill O'Reilly's registration card, registered as a republican.

Hannity & Bitch boy? Yes, so balanced, Hannity routinly gets more then twice the words, twice the air time, and gets to chose who is on the program. So "All those dems that sit side by side" is bs, there is one, and he is a puppet.

I swear, and people hear this and don't realize that this is BS. Also, the people who watch Fox News are the number one buyers of Al Frankens Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them. Not realizing it is making fun of them/Fox News, which is why Fox News sued Al/publishing company, people were finding out the truth, thankfully they lost.

Back in December of 1996, Jane Akre and her husband, Steve Wilson, were hired by FOX as a part of the Fox “Investigators” team at WTVT in Tampa Bay, Florida. In 1997 the team began work on a story about bovine growth hormone (BGH), a controversial substance manufactured by Monsanto Corporation. The couple produced a four-part series revealing that there were many health risks related to BGH and that Florida supermarket chains did little to avoid selling milk from cows treated with the hormone, despite assuring customers otherwise.

According to Akre and Wilson, the station was initially very excited about the series. But within a week, Fox executives and their attorneys wanted the reporters to use statements from Monsanto representatives that the reporters knew were false and to make other revisions to the story that were in direct conflict with the facts. Fox editors then tried to force Akre and Wilson to continue to produce the distorted story. When they refused and threatened to report Fox's actions to the FCC, they were both fired.(Project Censored #12 1997)

Reporters fired for not lieing. And not bs made up by liberal media, but something Fox took to the courts to make it legal for them to lie/fire people for not lieing as ordered. I posted this on my FIRST POST but you know, Bushies couldn't possibly read something not approved by the GOP.

Also, liberals on Fox News? Colmes doesn't count, he gets half the time, half the words, everytime. Time the show, count the words, he never gets close to Hannity.

Also, BILL O'REILLY WAS A REGISTERED REPUBLICAN UNTIL WASHINGTON(I though NYT, but was WP) POST TOLD HIM THEY WERE GOING TO EXPOSE HIM! So in 2000, he switched to keep him from being exposed.

Don't forget he also cuts you mike if you don't agree with him. He has done that alot, someone doesn't kiss his fett while bowing down to a picture of god/Bush he cuts the mike.

Anyways, he was a registered rep. for about 30 years, then in 2000 WP said they were gonna expose him so he quickly changed his registration to ind. Want proof he was a registered rep.? Look up Al Franken Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them, he has a picture of Billy Boys registration card.

I watch FOX alot, it can be better than the comedy channel at times.
Once you know their agenda, it makes it so much more interesting to see how they cover stories.

Hopefully members here do not rely only on FOX news for news, because most of it is opinion and not news.

Oh me too WW. I'm watching Fox right now, it's great to see them meltdown.

I'm from the UK and watch Fox News the most on Sky. It just cracks me up. Best comedy channel on Sky tbh. In the UK its what a grew up understanding what American TV is all about and like.

"The War on Terror" absolute classic. Can find O'Reilly bit too much sometimes though. To the point where I day dream about shoving that pen side ways up his ass.

anyone against a particular train of thought can find things like this. a person that likes foxnews and of course most are republicans can point out the extremely left wing hollywood, the new york times, abc, cbs, cnn etc etc etc.....the left controls and influences all media except for the internet, talk radio. i guess foxnews would be there also in your opinion. i don't have time nor feel like doing a huge post on the left wing media bias. it is just so apparent. as is the right wing bias on those three examples. i just question why pick out 1 television station to bash when there are far more examples on the other side of the fence?

I have seen outfoxed and it is interesting. It gives you a more insider view to the workings of the Fox News Network. If you get a chance watch it.

personaly i take any news with a grain of salt. remember that there are "edditors" that will always cencer news to make sure that the "slant" is right.

i will always remember when the blue jays won their first word series. i drove staight down young steet blareing my horn till it died. when the horn died i got on my p.a. systom, i even had a p.a. compitition with a cop in the cruser next to me. the only people the cops harrased were those endangering themselves or others. in fact the cop i was driveing beside pulled over a car whith a guy haveing a beer sitting on the hood driveing down the road. the cop stopped the car dumped out the beer and asked the man to ride IN the car please. then he left no ticket or anything. down town was nuts danceing and partying everywhere, lots of booze was flowing. it was a blast to be there.

the next month i went to my grandparrents in michigan. first question from his was " heard about the big riate you had down town how bad was it?" i asked what riate? i was there there were thousands of people but no riate. aparently the news there reported on the huge riat we had ,injuries property damage ect. yeah there were some but it was from accidents and stupidity not a riate. just goes to show how "news" can be slanted to show what is wanted.

as for fox do they seriously think that people take fox seriously? geez i thought fox was a comidy channel with news just so they could have news. guess i was wrong then.

Yep, Fox is entertaining. Right now they are running a telethon for the Terry Schiavo Case. The only thing they are missing is the operators for calling in your pledge. Picture collages set to music, protester's pleas... yeah, real balanced.

It exposes Fox, and best part is number one buyers are Fox News Fans cause they are so thick they thought the book was made by Fox News since the book cover has Fair and Balanced. So Fox News sued Al because he was making them look bad, they lost.

Also, don't want the Doctor or other Fox Fans posting, trust me, all it is is.... "Liberals are gonna eat my babies! Liberals are gonna pay women the same as men! Liberals think blacks should be equal to us holy white men! Liberals are everywhere!" Like they did in my topic.

I will be the first to admit that Fox news leans to the right. Can any of you that have been bashing Fox just admit that the other major news networks (CNN, CBS, etc) do everything in their power to promote a liberal agenda?

It seems to me the problem with fox isn't that it is run by republicans.
The big problem for me is that it has people like Bill O'Reilly who tell you that if you don't support what he says then you are anti-American.
Telling people to shut-up all the time to me is anti-American. Where is the American right to free speech when you get asked to go an his show just to be told shut-up?

I don't care for Bill much myself, he is a bit too full of himself. Just for the record it is his show. Guests have seen the way he interviews people before they go on and should know what to expect. I wouldn't think Bill telling a guest to shutup would suprise the guest in the least.
