Reservation Rampage Teenager Admired Hitler

They said his father committed suicide four years ago, and his mother was nursing home after suffering brain injuries in a car accident.

Jeff Weise admired German dictator Adolf Hitler and was a suspect following threats made at his school last year, he revealed in an internet forum frequented by neo-Nazis.

“I guess I’ve always carried a natural admiration for Hitler and his ideals, and his courage to take on larger nations,” Weise wrote on the website.

He said he was interested in finding like-minded Indians, a goal other messages on the website encouraged. He also admitted he was a suspect in a threat at school.

“Once I commit myself to something, I stay until the end,” he wrote.

In a message on a website last year that foreshadowed yesterday’s events, Weise said he had been questioned by police in connection with an alleged threat at the school.

“By the way, I’m being blamed for a threat on the school I attend because someone said they were going to shoot up the school on 4/20, Hitlers birthday, and just because I claim being a National Socialist, guess whom they’ve pinned,” he wrote in comments posted at 11:41 p.m. on April 19, 2004.

Five weeks later, he wrote that “the school threat passed and I was cleared as a suspect, I’m glad for that. I don’t much care for jail, I’ve never been there and I don’t plan on it.”

Alternately using the online pen names Todesengel –German for Angel of Death – and NativeNazi, Weise wrote several messages in which he said he believed Hitler and the Nazi movement that embroiled the world in war and caused millions of deaths got a bad rap.

“When I was growing up, I was taught (like others) that Nazi’s were evil and that Hitler was a very evil man ect,” he wrote in one posting replete with misspellings.

“Of course, not for a second did I believe this. Upon reading up on his actions, the ideals and issues the German Third Reich addressed, I began to see how much of a like had been painted about them. They truly were doing it for the better.”

They pegged me as a possible school shooter earlier this year, or wait, that was last month.

Apparently someone was supposed to shoot up the school on 4/20, and there was alot of buzz around me, and for good reasons I guess.

I wear combat boots (with my pant legs tucked into them), wear a trench coat, and at the last basketball game my friend Mac, (who happens to wear a black trench coat like mine), did a "Sieg Heil" during the national anthem (for shock value), so they had us pegged as "Trench Coat Mafia." My "friend" Rose even said that I fit the profile of a school shooter that she saw on 60 minutes. They also pinned it on me because 4/20 happens to be Adolf Hitlers birthday, and I seem to be the only one who promotes National Socialist beliefs (not the stereotypical "White Power" bs you hear racists shouting, either). So it's not hard to label a school shooter.

I happen to be "not so popular," Gothic (in the sense that I wear nothing but black, spike my hair in "devil" horns, and listen to music like Cradle of Filth and KoRn), and happen to be an emotionally disturbed person, if you could call me that. So it's really no problem slapping a label on someone because they fit the stereotype. And no, I wasn't the one who did the threat. On "Game day" (4/20) the Feds were all around the place, watching, cop cars on nearly every corner around the school and a few large unmarked black vans sitting around, I bet they were on standby. So they WERE prepared for something to happen.

I'm not a white supremecist, can't even spell it, I'm a Native American, Ojibwa, living on the Redlake Indian Reservation in Minnesota, and lets not have this turn into a hardcore political discussion about my political ideals, ok? )

I think this ought to be moved to RATS - I don't think the publicity is something that is needed on the Board.

A moderator better get on this and move it to RATS. Quick. ATS doesnt want to be seen as one of those 'kooky' websites that breeds racist killers. The recent Neo Nazi invasion pales in comparision to this.

The only time this ever happened to me was when I was in a seriously messed up mental state.

It felt like I was detached from reality and that everything was fake, like it was all a dream that I knew I'd wake up from. Sad thing is I didn't... Never the less, I've expierienced something similar, even if it was due to mental instability.

It certainly makes you think and wonder if Weise was in a similar state yesterday.

OMG lightningrod I do not know what to say... Did anyone get the feeling when interacting with the person on ATS that he was dangerous? I havn't checked out his posts yet, but it is disturbing to say the least. Does this mean that the Police will be asking for ATS's records now?

I remember corresponding with him regarding an experience with an owl and how he felt it was a bad omen - there was even an entire thread about his experience. He seemed like a normal, angst ridden teen - I feel so awful about this. I still have his U2Us. God I am going to be sick.

This information is still on the ATSNN news post regarding the incident.

How long before this reaches the news websites. With some very extreme elements posting on this site, it may not look good if they try to assosiate ATS with this.

this is bad...for ats...i'm going to take down my china photos..I think we are going to get a flow of people trying to get info soon...and that's not going to be good either.

I know Jak - this is just devastating to me. You just can't tell who is on the edge and who isn't. I am just .... christ I don't know what to think.

I only saw a few of his posts and he didn't strike me as anything other than a normal teen. I don't know when he last posted though.

We read of this kind of thing happening and think that we are becoming innured to the violence and evil of the world, but this certainly brings it home with a vengeance. I was actually speechless for a while when I first read this thread.

Maybe his account should be put on global ignore in case we get an influx of nutters and armchair psychologists trying to work out what happened ?

I don't know what to think about the media spin that he was a hitler admirer, it seems he was just questioning things in this thread and even states he is not a white supremacist, from what I have read, Weise came across as regular ATS poster with varying interests. I'm so sad about this, i don't even want to think about how anyone of us might have been able to help this kid if we knew what was going on inside of him. I am really feeling bad about this, more so than when I thought it was just another shooting.
