New owners. Ad free? Questions.. ANSWER ME!!! Please

I have been around these boards for quite a while.

I know that ownership was being transferred to other parties, and I thought i had heard that this website would become ad free under new ownership.

Is that true? Has new ownership occurred and is it ad free?

Nothing has been revealed and everything is still in the Forbidden Zones of the Outer Limits😊

Seriously, it takes time. Skeptic is probably still going over a LOT of information with the new owner(s). It's gonna be a while before they even have a good plan of action going forward. There's a lot to absorb. Taking over a site like ATS has to be a daunting task, especially given the inherent cynicism and paranoia of its members.

some unknown party is snatching up obscure and fairly obscure sites on the cheap and will one day start giving orders to use them for some nefarious purpose. new religion, new political movement, sneaky product promotion...

The new owners are probably reddit or some big media Corp that wants to distance itself from ATS while at the same time subtly interfering with it. Been a lot of troll accounts doing a whole lot of trolling since the new owners took over.

Whats odd to me is maybe 2 months ago it was said the paperwork was signed. I would imagine the new owner(s) would have done their due diligence and had a plan before making it official. In all that time no announcement yet. Jeez, let the cat out of the bag already!
