All I have to say is, he told it like it is. And he works for South West Airlines. Check your Comms.

'Liberal f***s!': Southwest pilot goes on profanity-laced hot mic tirade against Bay Area

"F*** this place, goddamn liberal f***s," the unidentified pilot says, according to the dictation of the San Francisco Gate.

He adds, "F***ing weirdos, probably driving around in f***ing Hyundais, f***ing roads and s*** that go slow as f***" and, "You don't have balls unless you're f***ing rolling coal, man, goddamn it."

Not sure about the Hyundai comment. But everything else he said seemed spot on.

If not the company then the Feds will burn him for violating the sterile cockpit procedure which says only necessary conversations for safe conduct of aircraft operations are to be conducted below 10,000. He is screwed big time just wait and see, as they can suspend his license and or give him a few months off without pay or both.. Hell of way to end your career !

I believe he will be reprimanded by the airlines, but they'll probably wait to see what the feds do.

I was unaware that conversations between pilots are advisory topics only. Yikes this pilot is toast.😥

This was funny, but there's no room for error with lives in your hands.
He wasn't doing what he was supposed to do.
I wouldn't wanna be t-boned by a 747 doing 200 knots because we have a comedian in the house.
Suspension warranted and incoming imo.
Being a pilot isn't play time.
The politicall butthurt will roast him on social media too.

Amazing! This guy speaks the truth.

The fact that he self censored enough to not bring sodomy into a soliloquy about all that's wrong with San Fransisco is enough to give him a 100% free pass from backlash over this.

The fact that he brought up "rollin' coal" makes me not even trust the story really.
It sounds like a liberals description of "the hick conservative right"

If this is legitimate, I am interested in seeing if equal application of punishment, or political prosecution is used.
Should get interdasting.

I've heard some pretty wild conversations between ATC and pilots, when it was supposed to be a sterile cockpit, that ended with nothing happening to either. So it's not a given that he will face discipline from the FAA unless they're pressured into it. The airline on the other hand, I can see taking action against him.

It was recorded through LiveATC and uploaded by a channel that does nothing but incidents involving ATC and pilots.

Here's the audio, perhaps the pilot can get a job "rollin coal'" after the FAA get thru with him. He sounded drunk or hammered on 'jet fuel'...

What if he dissed the hick Trump fans?
You'd probably say the same right?
Don't lie now.

There were a few interviews by the FAA, and one or two that were disciplined by the airline. The worst though was the controller that "had a stroke" in Las Vegas.

A stroke? Jesus

I fly with my dad quite a bit and have heard a lot of pissing matches between petty pilots on approach.
It is insane.
Unprofessional and dangerous.

If they don't snag his ticket, I guarantee the carrier does with the pr on this.

Did you account get hacked?

Agree. I have been studying for my ppl with instrument rating for a while, for when I win the lotto and have a spare 300k recreational funds.
I do take any bs in planes deadly serious.
Most crashes are pilot error.

Notice the quotes. They called it a stroke, but some time later it came out, through someone working at Vegas, that there were notices posted the next day that she wasn't allowed on property, and a few weeks later that she had blown a 0.32.

You don't think southwest will fire him do you? Pilots are running short for future business.

Have you been to the Bay Area, I think the pilot nailed it.
