Yet Another Awesome Animal I've never Heard Of

Check out this beauty from South America and let me know what you think. Am I the only one who has never heard of these? It never fails to amaze me how many beautiful animals we have in the world.

They're almost like a hyena mixed with a dog, both in the way they look and that vocalization.

I wonder if they have a distant relative.

I was going to say something similar. If a Hyena mated with a Fox and then a German Shepard somehow got in the mix.

I saw German Shepherd too!

South America? Remarkable!

Weird body proportions,looks like a sort of stretched fox.
It moves like a puppy does before it has full mastery of its legs
and that roar bark sounds like a regular dog bark,but slowed to about 60% speed.
Odd and cool animal.

Cute lil' bugger ain't it? In the face it looks much more fox-like than wolf. I saw in the video where it said they aren't a true wolf. Beautiful creature though, and I thank you for bringing this critter to us!

I like the mane -- like a Vulpes mohawk.

Kinda cute animal, I wonder if they are dangerous to people? A loud bark too, make a good dog for scaring people away from the house.

That thing is awesome! It speaks English too. The cameraman didn’t get the clue it was telling him to ‘go’ over and over.

They have a pair of these at the San Diego Zoo. They are magnificent creatures IRL. Sooooo talllll, lanky, but graceful. Like foxes on stilts.

My daughter and I were just looking at videos of them on YouTube yesterday.
