I asked all summer why the peaceful protesters let the thugs break and burn stuff and did not try and stop them.

Unlike over the summer, peaceful protesters tried to stop thugs at the Capitol.

Trump loves the people who dragged Fanone into the midst of their mob for a good stomping, so there’s no need to try and do spin control for him.

What I find funny is how the left completely ignores the majority of what he said, which was urging peace and for people to go home, instead focusing solely on the statement "we love you" and interpreting it to mean he loves the people who forced him to concede by storming the Capitol instead of protesting peacefully as Trump clearly requested in the speech beforehand. Trump was speaking broadly to his supporters who were defending his belief that the election was stolen, there is nothing nefarious about saying he loves them, he was clearly trying to calm them down and defuse the situation before anyone else got hurt. That one simple statement now seems to be the basis for why Trump was censored from social media and the basis of their belief Trump is encouraging an insurrection... it's absolutely laughable they would try such a thing with only days before Biden will supposedly take control.

Stolen elections are easily excused thanks to a MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTEST.

Where was all that the same outrage when several police were killed by Antifa and BLM rioters? What about the little girl who was randomly shot by rioters as her parents drove near one of their makeshift barriers? What about the dozens of other people who died as a result of their absolutely disgusting behavior, including burning down many buildings, many of which were small business owners who had their entire livelihood taken from them in the midst of the worst economic shutdown in history. The hypocrisy is sickening.

The highly selective memory one side possesses doesn’t help things. The refrain of “if these were BLM protestors” is absolutely breathtaking to me (but isn’t, really) in the level and depth of its ignorance of recent times.

The same activity begets two wildly different reactions, and I understand that’s a yuge problem.
