Unreputable tabloid but ‘something’ in open hanger photographed as pilot makes several passes of groom in Cessna on Christmas Day. Link below

A couple people I know took a good look at it and couldn't see the same thing they're reporting. It's probably just shadows and lighting.

Even with the higher resolution pics i linked, i still can't make out what it could be other than light and shadows. The pilot was able to get the flight path clearance for R-4806W. So with groom lake knowing this, I'm inclined to think they would not leave the hanger doors open for the sake of aircraft flying by to get photos. So in a nutshell, that hanger was empty. Still some really good shots though.

Still envious of you and Sammish getting video/pics of the F-117's up at Tonopah Test Range Airport. You guys blew their secret and made a great article for The Aviationist.

I wish we could talk more about this year's trip, but it would be a lot of conjecture and pie in the sky stuff.

Couldn't you guys have done it or not due to travel restrictions? Or did you make a trip and got nothing. I'm still wanting to get an RV and road trip to Father Crowley, Palmdale and Mojave. But I'm not sure about cross country travel during a pandemic.

Don't bother with Father Crowley right now. 1500 foot minimum.

We got stuff, but nothing that you can definitively identify. Mostly stuff blowing up down range, and some interesting chatter. And the method of blow up was unconventional. We also screwed up an RQ-170 launch.
