The other is over CONUS.

That's all four C-32As, a VC-25A, C-32B, and a C-37 on training flights today. Busy day.

There are no aircraft designated Air Force 1 and Air Force 2. That is the call sign for any Air Force aircraft with the president (AF1) and the vice president (AF2) actually on board. The aircraft normally used for this have their own designations.

There cannot be four people in the air when there are only one of two people authorized to use one of those two callsigns.

I didn’t know this. Thanks for clarifying!

There are two aircraft that are dedicated for Presidential use, but they are designated VC-25A currently. They're based on the 747-200 airframe. They'll fly under 82-8000 or 82-9000, or under a VENUS callsign when the President isn't onboard. There are two VC-25B replacements that are starting to undergo modification work, based on the newest 747, the 747-8i. Air Force Two is a generic aircraft used by the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews. It could be the C-32A, which is based on the 757-200, or it could be a C-20/37 based on the Gulfstream III/IV/V.

Fars air? The 747 I said a couple of years back was smuggling rockets into Syria?

Edit: yep, one in the same. I thought it had an accident.

Just a minor CG accident during unloading. It tipped onto its tail after they unloaded the cargo wrong.

Thanks, I saw a post with it parked at an airport in iran. The post was stating that it would be more than a year if ever to be air worthy again. So it appears she's doing well.

It was March of 2019 when that happened. It's usually not that bad with an accident like that though, unless they had heavy maintenance coming up anyway.
