Just so you guys that are so 100% sure absolutely "nothing" is going to happen next year, military personal have reported that all leave in January is cancelled, that isn't nothing, but very unusual.

Holiday block leave was cancelled all over the place “because COVID.” That’s been known for weeks. What’s also known is that some units have cancelled leave, others haven’t. Which is why people are bitching about it, because it’s haphazard.

I don’t think units on training rotations in Japan had their block leave cancelled because something “might” (it won’t) happen in DC on the 6th.

Pence has the power to make this a VERY long day...

..and nothing else so it's all grandstanding.

You might be right......BUT you could also be wrong, apparently devastating new information is being prepared to be put up at that meeting; and that could change everything. The point is Pence has the power to allow the new information to be presented.

I hope you are right. I hope it gets covered, although I seriously doubt that CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, NYTimes etc will cover it, more like cover it up.

I hope Pence allows the testimony. There is nothing wrong with allowing them to present testimony.

The American people deserve the full facts, even if it means "Uncle Joe" gets elected and then "Sleep her way to the Top" ends up President after a few months, as the Democrats have planned all along to get their dream President of a "black" woman President.

I thought he left Florida because Floridians threw him out...mostly because they don't want him there.

Besides the ludicrously funny idea that the current POTUS could be "thrown out" from Florida, who was it that won the vote in Florida again??

It shows how brainwashed certain people are to their respective news media in other countries for one thing. As well as people thinking they can develop an educated opinion based on limited and biased news sources.

LOL isn't Ireland known for its sheep?

Hell Florida welcomed OJ Simpson with open arms going back further to Al Capone, but yea they are gonna run Trump out of the state.

Congressperson or Senator from each state...

A Representative AND a Senator.

No Senator, no debate.

One has said he's on board. Paul is sort of wishy washy about it but that doesn't really matter.

It's going to be a long day and Biden will be proclaimed victorious (by Pence) when it is done.

My point is Biden had all the power, to gavel people down or allow it.

Pence will be in the same spot, the VP controls what is allowed to be said or not, they will turn off their mikes if he gavels you down, but if he allows it they can speak. Pence has the power to make this a VERY long day, and other GOP members might just jump on the bandwagon, when they see 1 million people in Washington that day. Pence knows it's going to be a very long day he cancelled his trip to Israel.

Of note many DNC people did object to Trump but Biden repeatedly gaveled them down, and their mikes were turned off.

Every objection made could be greeted from Pence with "I will allow it" that is his power that day.

Pence?

You mean Mike Pence?

Sorry to burst your bubble but...

Mike Pence has asked a federal judge to throw out a lawsuit brought against him by Republican lawmakers who want the US vice-president to overturn the results of the November 3 election, in a blow to Donald Trump and his allies who continue to falsely insist that the poll was rigged.

FT Article

Pence doesn't want any part in it, or is it 365d chess?

So unless there is a signed request from a Congressperson or Senator from each state the objection will be denied.

Even if there is a signed request it won't change anything. The results will stand since the Democrats control the House.

If it's thrown to the Hosea, Isn't it one state one vote?

No, it's a simple majority in each Chamber of Congress. It's over.

I am confident Pence will do the right thing. He has remained silent for good reason on the issue.

I personally believe Pence is tired of Trump and will be happy to declare Joe Biden the next President of the United(not so much) States.

Pence so far has refused to go along with the lawsuits that are trying to prevent Biden from becoming President.

Mike Pence has asked a federal judge to toss out Trump's case to overturn the 2020 election results

I saw an article that Pence is going to get out of Politics after all this.....this tells me he is leaning towards favoring Biden in the proceedings as he understands that in 2024 he will have no chance with the Trump people.

I see Candice Owens might run in 2024, she will crush Kamila Harris who will be President by then.

Always ask the Constitution.

And Pelosi can’t do jack about it, otherwise January 7 becomes the New Independence Day, which is better than Feeding the Tree of Liberty Day...although I like that one better as it is a constant reminder to Un-American dirtbags festering the shores that survived the purge.

Amendment XII

The electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate;--The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted;--the person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President. The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

Just in case your bold maybe taken out of context.

Trump is down 74 Electoral College votes, no loop hole will enable him to remain President.

Pence job is to open the certified ballots from each state. These 'alternative' ballots are not in the equation.

Not looking good for the 6th by what trump posted

The BIG Protest Rally in Washington, D.C., will take place at 11.00 A.M. on January 6th. Locational details to follow. StopTheSteal!

2 keywords (Protest and StopTheSteal ) which doesn't sound to good if you are hoping for a Kraken miracle nor adds confidence on having this thing in the bag for trump come Jan 6th.

Why the need to protest when you have the Goods everyone is expecting to be exposed that will bring down the swamp, Pence is going to put the final nail on BIden, and Epstein is going to come out and show video of Kid sniffer Biden ?

Also why do you need people to StopTheSteal if you are about to release all the goods to expose it all as POTUS with the backing of the military?

Unless you are using new new 42d math none of this is adding up to a trump win.

twitter.com...

So unfortunately get ready for the likely Jan 6th nothing burger reveal and prepare for a massive trump rally rehashing of everything that has been exposed so far.

1) Pence counts them as they are opened. He doesn’t chose slates, but can say there are two slates submitted by a state. At which point they can be counted, disputed or thrown out. If neither Trump nor Biden have 270...guess what happens?

Bold section applies.

2) Pence counts as they are opened and only accepts slates matching the “Election Day Results” (which have zero to do with votes for POTUS but for which slate of electors). A Senator and Representative object to the slates presented forcing a separate chamber vote...guess what happens?

Bold section applies.

3) Pence picks which slates he wants opened and counts them. And either a Senator and Representative objects and a separate chamber vote happens or it doesn’t.

4) Pence picks the slates best matching “Election Day Results” and either a Senator and Representative objects and a separate chamber vote happens or it doesn’t.

5) At the end of the day there are five possible outcomes of who will be sworn in on January 20...

    a) Biden
    b) Trump
    c) Harris
    d) Pence
    e) TBD

    c) and e) are the least likely. a) is the most probable but b) has a strong possibility. d) would be the safest and best bet for all involved at this point to be honest. And has a better chance of happening than Harris.

Pence, the possible next president that no one talks about but should. Because a c) & d) situation happens if the House splits 25-25 (or any other condition that nulls their selection).

There aren't two slates, each State only certified and sent one.

There is no chance for Trump to remain in office.

Each state has 1 slate of certified Electors, with Biden having 306, Trump with 233.

In order to challenge a states Elector's, a Congressman and Senator have to start the challenge, this will happen but unsure if a Senator can challenge more than one state. This means both the House and Senate will be called to vote on the issue with a majority needed in both to challenge the state's Electors. This is where it stops, because there is no way the House will vote to dismiss the Electors of the states being challenged. It is also unlikely the Senate will get a majority either because every Republican Senator will NOT vote in favor of challenging the electors. You should know this, as it has been explained over and over again.

It looks like they are hoping to challenge up to 5 states...each challenge can take 2 hours or more. It will be a long session.

Biden shot down House members who tried to object Trump's electoral college votes back in 2017, Pence will likely do the same.
