Looked like space junk re entering. Pieces scattered and tail trails.

Edit: yes agreed there was a recent starlink launch. But it really does look like bits and pieces coming down.

I couldnt tell if it was coming DOWN or just going off over the horizon myself, but you may be right with that too, just could be debris, ill look to see if there was anything expected to re enter on that date

I saw a train of 6 starlinks a while ago, it looks nothing like that video. If I had to guess, I would say either falling debris or night time sky divers, both can look like the video.

MYSTERY SOLVED: LIGHTS DESCRIBED BY ASTRONOMERS

John O’Meara Chief Scientist, W.M. Keck Observatory says the lights were from an old rocket booster that launched a Venezuelan satellite into space in China in 2008. Very few other locations would have had the vantage to see the event, making Hawaiʻi viewers and those on Maui in particular, very lucky to have caught the visual on Saturday night.

I'm sure those videos are stashed in the No Such Agency archives as unexplained and explained cosmic and aerial phenomena😄

Doesn't fit the time/direction, and would have been in Earth shadow so invisible.

The one thing that puzzles me a bit about the space junk explanation is what appears to be a flashing anti-collision light at the ground side of the mass. It may be an exceptionally regular, pulsing burn... I guess... maybe?

I don't think it's Starlink. Sorry. It's something else.

Wait until some of THIS space junk starts dropping in .... you know, orbit decay and such. You ain’t seen nothing yet 😆

Very good find.

I think U.F.O. visitation is clear. I don't know how anyone can think we're alone in the universe today with all of the evidence that has accumulated.
