So, suffice it to say that my last post was around 2017. I've been on a helluva roller coaster ride since then and just have not had the will to post.

I was living in FL at the time. I was going through a bad spot of depression, and didn't have much will to go on. Ended up purchasing a 1979 Pontiac Trans-Am, but that was like a band-aid over a wound requiring stiches. I ended up reconnecting with a woman I've know since I was 18, and we ended up together and married within 6 months. 2 months after I got back to NJ, The worst happened.

I was involved in a car accident. I was driving my new daily driver, a 98 Ford Escort ZX 2dr, when I was t-boned. Almost died. Spent 2.5 weeks in the hospital due to a collapsed lung, 6 broken ribs, and a few infections. Suffice it to say that even to this day I still deal with a fair few handicaps. I am a Type 2 diabetic, and suffer from IBS. I am only 37 years old.

I'm doing OK nowadays, and have been fast tracked for disability as my normal job is impossible to do due to my ailments. But for the few old school people here like SkepticOverlord, Springer, JohnnyAnnomymous, Sapphire, etc...

I'm doing ok. I'm back.

And a moment of silence for my good friend and confidant, William One Sac. Miss you the most my brother.

so are you back in Dirty Jersey or still in Fantastical Florida?

Hope you are recovered as well as can be expected after that major crash and glad to have you back on ATS.

FYI the site might be going down soon, the owners made a post recently about how the site is not profitable and it may be in the end of days (sorry to be the bearer of bad news)

Ended up purchasing a 1979 Pontiac Trans-Am,

Our family car when I was growing up, was a 79 firebird, the other was a 67 Mustang fastback.
My Dad still always told me the best winter car he ever had was his Corvette.

I sure miss him and his enthusiasm about cars but am still a bicycle kind of guy.

And a moment of silence for my good friend and confidant, William One Sac. Miss you the most my brother.

Glad to see you back and am healthy,be well and good health to you.
