Real country music

One of our new members made me think of David Allen Coe, so here we go.

In this song, Coe is hitchhiking, and gets a lift from Hank Williams. That is to say, Hank's ghost. One of the old Sun Studios engineers said this song featured the spookiest steel guitar he'd ever heard. He said he could really picture the dark, desolate back highway.

Yeah, we are losing many of the stars of real country music.

That song, the day the music died, will be played in our home, when we lose Willie.
Unfortunately, I don't think that will be long.

Funny, I hated country music growing up, because I was forced to listen to it.

But when I listen to the old stuff, compared to the new CRAP, I realize what we have lost.
