So I went to the grocery store yesterday and it was wiped out. I decided I'd get a Little Caesars pizza on the way home. It was a busy day and I didn't feel like cooking.

So I order my pizza and this girl wearing gloves takes my money. In the meantime she wipes her nose with the back of her hand with the glove. She continued taking money from people with the gloves on. Then as I'm waiting I had a view of the back where they were working. She goes in the back and shoves her hand down the front of her pants. Then she proceeds to help prep boxes and cut pizzas while still wearing the gloves.

I walked out I told my cousin lets go. He told me to get my money back. It's was only $5 and I didn't feel like causing a scene. I was already in a bad mood.

Pretty gross if you ask me. I live 2 blocks north of Detroit. I've already crossed Taco Bell Wendy's Mc Donalds and Burger King off my list of places to go around here.

If I want fast food I have to drive away from the city at least 6 or 7 miles. The people working around here are idiots.

I mean, if you saw the # we did when I worked at a national pizza joint in HS/college, you'd prob never eat there.

That can be said for most food services, even now, I think.

I have a couple places I trust the service around here but it's getting fewer and fewer. I have a small diner down the street that's pretty good and another pizza joint.

I mean, you're unlikely to get sick unless there are blatant health violations, but I'm speaking more just to being disgusted at the actions if you saw what goes on.

Like stuff I witnessed and that we did.

Unless it's a sushi joint.

We used to at a national pizza joint prep the lettuce for the salad bar by bowling the lettuce heads across the kitchen floor into the cooler door, sweep it up and run water over it.

If you eat at a chain restaurant just assume that you are eating food that is served off the floor.

You've posted this same anecdote before, I remember.

But yeah, that's # like we used to do. We may have done worse :/

Toppings dropped all over the floor regular during a rush, and being purposely scooped up after being stepped on and used for "problematic" customers.

Let's just leave the "worse" parts out of the conversation...

ETA... you edited and went there!!!

Sometimes the things in your pizza are not EXACTLY what you think the things in the pizza are...

That's incredibly nasty. They should either write her up or fire her before she makes somebody sick.

I’ve seen things working in restaurants that would make you afraid to leave the house.

I use to live at 16 and Gratiot. I went to Clintondale for a short time. I lived down the street from Mr C's Pizza.

I have a 12 pack of toilet paper that I purchased right before there was a run on it. I created this topic about sanitary conditions more then coronavirus. But when thinking about it if someone like her did have the virus how many people could she pass it onto?

I didn't mean to derail the thread.... my apologies.

However, if you only have a 12 pack you are safe from online predators.
