Like the title says, ADS-B Exchange changed their format and no longer supports it's "Legacy Map".

The option to isolate military aircraft is not listed. So now it tracks everything except military. Does anyone know how to navigate the new ADS-B exchange? There's a Huron circling my house since 5pm and the bummer is I can't track him on radar.

This is what it looks like.

PLEASE HELP!!!

It stands for "U-2 and other military aircraft". It toggles to military only.

That feature on ADS-B exchange I believe does not exist. But it is a feature that's on Flightradar24 of which goes back 3 months for now.

Edit: pretty far back...

Tried Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 but it's no longer in the system.

EDIT: hey Mac! Look at this feature on the new ADS-B. There is a Hx history.

Ya, I have the gold sub. For Flightradar24.
It allows me to go back 1 year from today's date.
I Was hoping to find something that goes back further.
Somewhere around 2-3 years, without having to get the commercial sub. To Flightradar24.
Thanks though!

Thanks I've only tried going back 2 to 3 month.
If you find something, let us/me know😊
Also I haven't gone back so far to the point that you have to pay more.

Gold on Flightradar24 too.
I edited the above.
Seems ADS-B does have a history function.

Well I like this, thank you both for pointing us here. I think I will keep an eye on libya with this. Or will that not work. I only briefly viewed it near WiFi. I don't have home internet and this mobile has limited bandwidth.

Welcome, the legacy format tracked many military aircraft in the med. From Morocco, Tunisia, Greece, Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait most everything in Europe and Britain.

But now I have to learn this new format. Lol.. we're on a level new field.

It will and it won't. Most Intel aircraft turn their transponder off once they get to their mission area. Only some fighters and bombers are equipped, but you'll see some interesting things flying around. There's usually a Global Hawk up near Sicily, and you'll catch the RC-135s out of the UK heading towards Russia and back into the UK, as well as the Fairford U-2s.

If you learn to read it you'll figure out a lot that's going on. The first Syria strike a couple years ago involved a lot more than they told us it did. People got a pretty good idea of what was going on by watching the tankers and the airlift tail. Several of us here watched the 82nd deploy recently, and caught a few more things that they didn't say went.

The new one is easier and gives more information. And you can deselect aircraft. I never could with the legacy.

I have wondered where these types of flight tracking maps that show up in my Twitter feed originate.
Now I can't wait to actually open up my old laptop and stop by a hotspot. It's the story untold which we are always searching for. That's usually where the direction of truth and facts are hiding.

I do all of this on my tablet. There are many more info graphics on the laptop however. Usually have ADS-B and Flightradar24 running at the same time... if I'm running tablet and laptop simultaneously, I have Marine Traffic going too.
