What do You Want to be Your Last Words?

Yesterday, five years ago, my mom died. She wasn't allowed last words. She suffered a series of strokes and couldn't speak.

I asked her a few questions, I told her I loved her. She squeezed my hand. Those were her words.

If I have it in me, at my death...I would say, as Dime did: Van Halen brother.

I wish I had a better answer but life is a mess to me. :/

oh no!!! Oh no. I'm so touched by that....I can't imagine losing one of my children. And I always give extra hugs - big, long, tight ones. Because hugs.

So hard. My dad died nearly 10 years ago. The last time I saw him we looked at a coffee table book of National Park photography together; he'd asked me to bring it to him.

You mom's hand squeeze was her loving hug. Sorry
