From China's perspective it's starting to dawn on them.

Deal with Trump now, before 2020, or risk dealing with him afterwards when technically he becomes unleashed without the concerns of a reelection.

Winning.

Steve Bannon made note of this, in fact I even made a thread about that.

Once he wins his second term, it'll be Trump UNLEASHED.

People haven't seen Trump yet and I'm foaming at the mouth to see his second term.

Hilarious.

Another major win for almost everyone. The left will be spouting venom claiming that "trump is racist against the CHinese for siding with the Japanese." Or "See? POTUS Trump is siding with the Japanese, whom were fascists in WWII which makes Trump a fascist..." Or some other idiotic comment/insult just to bash at POTUS Trump... For the sane people still living in the U.S. this is a major win.

You're a fool.

Even the media denotes it as *suggestive, they probably know that Melania hasn't met Kim.

President Donald Trump suggested that first lady Melania Trump knew North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, instigating the White House to clarify the comments later Monday.

Additionally,

“President Trump confides in his wife on many issues including the detailed elements of his strong relationship with Chairman Kim — and while the First Lady hasn’t met him, the President feels like she’s gotten to know him too."

The Presidents only mistake is forgetting the fact that these activist faux journalist scrutinize his every word and therefore have to issue corrections.

Seriously you've never relayed thoughts about a friend to a spouse, who never met your friend? Lol, lame 👎

Can you do the same for the ten thousand that trump has told in 32 months.
You may want to do it in a series.

I am sure you meant to say the ten thousand lies that Sillyolme has been posting... You are one of several ATS members whom always take comments made by POTUS Trump out of context, and even lie about what POTUS Trump has said or done... So you shouldn't be one trying to claim someone else is lying...

I would like to thank the OP for this thread, it has produced discussions both positive and negative.

S+F

Topics of this nature, I hold very dear. I'm compassionate about America First and seeing positive engagements resulting in new trade deals is exciting and excellent.

This thread showed several things, users celebrating a positive on trade during our trade war with china, leftist trying to cheap shot with irrelevent pork and ignorant foreigners downplaying any positive benefit for the US and its allies.
This is a positive, we don't know the full details and specifics of the deal, there may have been sacrifices, but gains were definitely made. This is progress and if you're only goal is to diminish this win, than you're simply a troll, lets just be real about it.

This trade war is opening eyes and markets are adjusting, there is money to be made and the shifts are a positive for any and all.
Perhaps this shake-up will have results later on down the road, for better or worse, only time will tell.
Furthermore, china has called for "calm negotiations", most likely at the new deal announced and the fact that Trump will most likely be re-elected. Their yuan hitting an Eleven year low and markets tanking, they're in panic mode. All their gains are at risk and now may not be a bad idea to, "bite your tongue" so to speak and just get accept the new terms under President Trump.

I'm not so sure, you've demostrated that you're easily amused, like toddler amused and if the G7 was a "hilarious show", than perhaps you shouldn't be at the table concerning politics? Kind of an adult thing, you know? 😌

Plus, once again, your taste in comedy is dull, nobody finds the G7 funny other than those who hold water for leftist and trolling for points.

You can tell because they complain, are easily amused and apparently spend the days trolling internet message boards for funsies go figure 🤭

We're reaching "Agreements" and the G7 is the perfect place to coordinate with other world leaders and come to conclusions in order to better provide trade and relief with our partners.

No Peace

Well better easily amused than easily triggered...

But I'm understanding better why you keep saying your MSN is fake. One would almost believe you have been following a different G7 by what you say...

While you are going on about the successes of your leader the rest of the world is left with nothing more than to see it for what it is....a funny preformance.

China is calling it Trump's U-turn...

Oh well...back to sunshine, longdrinks and triggering the uninformed.

Not uninformed, more like misinformed.

Anyhow I'm keeping a skeptical view of this deal ,until it's signed into existence. I suspect it's nothing more than hot air but regardless of my opinion we will see soon enough

Misinformed would be a better word, I agree.

Like Trump said:

"When a country (USA) is losing many billions of dollars on trade with virtually every country it does business with, trade wars are good, and easy to win. Example, when we are down $100 billion with a certain country and they get cute, don’t trade anymore-we win big. It’s easy!"

Simple strategy but it's not working. American farmers are the victim of this policy and Trump has to come up with sollutions if he wants to keep his voters.

At this point it seems like the only panick is on his side and he has to back out of this trade war without losing face. The sollution seems to be to make up stories about China calling for negotiations or Japan buying up the surplus this tradewar is creating.

They have a 16 billion dollar rescue package for farmers in the making I believe but that seems a little past the "don't trade anymore, we win big" idea...

Hahaha, except that didn't happen. Like clockwork, here you are, AGAIN and predictably, after I post this.

But I'm understanding better why you keep saying your MSN is fake. One would almost believe you have been following a different G7 by what you say...
You shown very little understanding of anything, plus you consume fake news, come on dude, lets be real, lol.

Well of course, I'm an American and American success warrants discussions. The G7 has been good and Trump getting deals done. Obviously American success is an issue for you and easily triggered you've become.

China is calling it Trump's U-turn...
Lmfao, that's how I know you're consuming fake news and or trolling.

You do that, more sunshine, less drinks, considering how uniformed you are, it's best to leave the drinks alone, you're done son.

As Trump policies deepen farmers' pain, Democrats see an opening in rural America.

She added: “We’re getting helped a lot by the president in this regard.”

Roger Johnson, president of the National Farmers Union, said in a statement last Friday: “Between burning bridges with all of our biggest trading partners and undermining our domestic biofuels industry, President Trump is making things worse, not better.”

National Farmers Union condemns new tariffs: 'Trump is making things worse'
thehill.com...

*YAWN*

The NFU represents a 200,000 families and ranches over 33 states, they're based out of Washington, DC and currently engaging in green policies. However their biggest policy are those that ensure the economic well being of families, REGARDLESS OF THE REASONS why. The President of that union doesn't speak for everybody.

In other words, IRRELEVANT.

As cited in your source,

However, the president appeared to acknowledge the trade war may have short-term pitfalls of the economy, telling reporters that he had to intervene to rectify the U.S.’s trade relationship despite such concerns.
“Whether it’s good for our country or bad for our country, short term, it had to be done,” Trump said Tuesday. “Someone had to take on what China was doing to the United States economically.”

You fools, when a leader leads, change is abound and some of it will be painful, obviously, this is a lesson in the reality and dynamics of the world for you people.

..and for the record, some are LEFTIST FARMERS, I mean, the liberal left coast elites dominate those areas lol, duh.

*tsk tsk* there is a lot more to the article than your feverish doom porn scenarios.

The premise being that there is a *PRESUMPTION that rural farmers are 100% pissed at Trump and they want to tap rural America. Pretty pathetic, desperation more likely.

The sparsely populated U.S. heartland has remained loyal to the Republican president even as farmers from Iowa to Wisconsin to Pennsylvania bear the brunt of his tariff war with China. His advisers insist Trump’s projection of toughness against China will only delight, not alienate, his base.

Remember! Rural America was already burning before the trade war and Democrats offer nothing but lip service as cited by the very same individual you cited,

In the past, Democratic candidates often just paid lip service to rural voters, said former U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota

Furthermore, you and Extorris fail to admit, or willfully omit?, That democrats face an uphill battle regardless of their "percieved small opening", not to mention the fact that leftist liberal policies don't resonate with rural America, at all.

Next year is again expected to be an uphill battle for Democrats. Officials worry the party’s increasingly liberal direction on immigration and other Trump-driven hot-button issues is socially and culturally at odds with rural voters.

Additionally, polling of the regions also so strong support,

According to the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted this month, five in 10 U.S. adults in rural areas approved of Trump’s performance in office, higher than his 41% approval nationwide.

Why? Rural America is extremely nationalistic, this is a known fact and the reason why many are putting up with the trade war, since their problems have been an ongoing issue, their faith in Trump is that he'll solve the chinese issue that benefits all.

Tim Murtaugh, the Trump campaign’s communications director, said farmers know the trade war is a “fight worth winning.”
“Farmers are patriots ... and they know the long-term benefits are going to be worth it for themselves and this nation,” Murtaugh said.

Also, Trump is helping by aiding struggling farmers with aid packages to help alleviate some stress as we seek to shift towards America First policies.

The White House also unveiled a $16 billion aid package in July to help farmers hurt by the trade war and bad weather.

All in all, the remainder of the article are hair brained schemes by dem operatives to paint Trump as big oil and attempt to paint the picture that Trump is throwing rural America to the curb when they are exactly who he wants to help and expand, but NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF A FOREIGN NATION THAT CAN WEAPONIZE THIS MARKET, it isn't Trump that's hurting them fools, lol, its the chinese in response to Trumps demands for fair trade.

If 20% if the market is angry, well too bad because liberal policies from Dems will ensure you stay poor and nobody helped before and during Obamas tenure, so with Trump, at least there is hope a successful trade deal will be established very soon and it will, between USMC, UK and china folding, we'll be very satisfied. Total fail on your part.
