Iran threatens to seize British ship after marines storm super tanke.

Royal Marines seized the oil tanker off Gibraltar for trying to take oil to Syria in violation of European Union sanctions.

Iran has threatened to seize a British tanker after Royal Marines held one of their vessels suspected of taking oil to Syria.

Mohsen Rezai, a senior commander in Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards, said on Twitter: "If Britain does not release the Iranian oil tanker, it is the (Iranian) authorities' duty to seize a British oil tanker."

Posturing? This ship was travelling against sanctions, mate. You don't get to do that, Britain had a right to stop the shipment.

Sorry, sanctions exist whether Iran wants them to or not.

Nothing "hidden" about it tor those with critical thinking skills.

The Brits have been very vocal about their displeasure with Iran exceeding purification limits.

They are just driving the point home.

They can try, but pulling this Tit for Tat like China did with Canada will royally back fire.

Brits got some badass units designed to respond and infiltrate, much respect from a Veteran.

Iran will find out just like Iraq did that they are barely a 3rd world country when it comes to war.

I do not understand how the Iranian government can have such a big head. I cannot understand how come Europe has not pulled back their agreement and still gives these jerks in Iran money. Iran is not following their agreement with the EU, they have been suckering the EU to gain money to increase their military.

Even Trump could see this. Of course, Our Military actually informed Trump as they did Obama, but Obama just blew the military off. Trump pulled back our contribution, knowing it was helping to make Iran even stronger.

I do not know what kind of nuts they got running the EU these days, somehow the wrong type of people got put into their leadership.

If Iran declared economic sanctions against Britain, wouldn't they have the same right to seize British merchant vessels?

When I first heard about this, I was thinking I should declare economic sanctions against Bank of America. That would give me the right to steal their money, right?

this is probably a response to Iran attacking those tankers in the persian gulf, Iran is just asking for it if they think threats will stop America and the UK from responding.
