PEASE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE —
The situation at Pease Air National Guard Base was under control, officials said, some time after the base was placed in lockdown Tuesday after possible shots were heard.
The incident was being treated as an active shooter scenario, but no shooter had been confirmed, National Guard officials said.

There were no other details released about the lockdown or the report of shots being fired.
State and local law enforcement officers are at the scene.
Nothing to do with the Russian nuclear sub incident, it appears.
