I just watch an interesting documentary talking about what is wrong with the modern diet. I was very close to someone who died from breast cancer. In the video, there is a woman diagnosed with really bad breast cancer. She did not have her breasts removed. She beat the cancer with diet. The doctors called her the "miracle woman" but she doesn't think it's that big of a miracle but just good science.
There were people in the video who no longer needed to take insulin. And there were two people with autism who were greatly helped by the diet.
For people with health issues I recommend the video. You will save money on medications.

That wasn't exactly what the video was saying on how diet affected cancer cells.

So what was the "magic pill" that she ate?
I'm for damn sure it wasn't heavily processed "fresh" ingredients brought into her urban #hole form thousands of miles away.
I'm being serious, my tone aside.

They claimed cancer cells thrive on a high carb or high sugar diet. It took me a while to find it because I could not remember the term. But the woman who beat cancer was on a Katogenic diet. It's like Atkins on steroids (bad analogy since steroids may cause cancer):
Ketogenic diet

That was the trailer. I watch the full length video off of Netflix.

When I was treated years ago, I sat beside some women who were shocked that they had cancer because they ate healthy diets and exercised, didn't work in an unhealthy environment at work or anything. So this doesn't seem to help everyone. And these days, even healthy foods are genetically modified. The air we breathe, the food we eat everything is screwed up. Don't mean to be a negative Nelly, but we don't exactly live in the best of times.

The purpose of this thread is very simple. I lost someone who was very close to me who died from breast cancer. I have never heard how a specific diet could actually be used to treat breast cancer without chopping off the breasts. The person dear to me had both breast removed. But she died anyway. Very sad.
So I just found this video interesting and amazing. I wish I knew about it 10 years ago!
