Besides %#%%^^, Who's Supporting Venezuela's Murderous Dictator?

www.insightcrime.org...

So do you read our controlled MSM here in the USA? When you do make sure you have a bushel basket of salt to go with it and hope that you survive. Take a ride on the wild side of life and see what others are writing. Then again they might be labeled as a phooey site by the MSM handlers as that’s the way it has worked since Jesus Christ was crucified. Kill the messenger ~ whistle blower or anyone who tries to stop evil.

Venezuela is a key transit country for drug shipments leaving Colombia for the United States and Europe. Foreign groups, particularly Colombians, have traditionally controlled Venezuela’s drug trade, attracted by poor rule of law and corruption. There is evidence, however, that beginning in the mid-2000s corrupt elements in the security forces stepped up their role in the business, forming a loose network dubbed the “Cartel de los Soles” (Cartel of the Suns). Corrupt members of the security forces have also been major providers of weapons to the black market, to the particular benefit of Colombian guerrilla groups like the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia – FARC) and the National Liberation Army (Ejército de Liberación Nacional – ELN). Both the FARC and the ELN have established a presence in states along Venezuela’s shared border with Colombia, a hub of criminal activity, alongside Venezuela’s own armed rebel group the FBL-FPLN. Human trafficking, money laundering and the drug precursor chemical trade are other problems for Venezuela’s struggling law enforcement. Venezuelan cities also have a major problem with street crime and urban gang warfare, with the capital Caracas having one of the highest homicide rates in the world.

TeThose who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. This famous quote is once again at the forefront of America's collective consciousness with socialism yet again in vogue with the Democratic Party. While socialism caused Venezuela to collapse into chaos, today an armed revolt ignited by recognized acting president Juan Guaidó has spread throughout the country. Still, dictator Nicolás Maduro has found rare support among America's far-left – including freshman representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Ocasio-Cortez hasn't updated her stance on the Venezuela crisis, despite new video showing military vehicles loyal to the Maduro regime mowing down protesters.xt

So read on. So why does "you know who" along with many in the far left support Maduro. My IQ sent me so follow the money; especially to Sanctuary States and cities.

Where the hell is this source from? Man, you got some really obscure news sources going on here.

www.insightcrime.org/v

They look like opinon pieces with no verifiable link sources, and I'm guessing they're on the US side, right?

Actually two sources. One is based in Washington DC. I read the Honduras newspapers in their own language and use Google translate and found these two sites. Do you want more?

Verifiable and objective source links would be good, I don't include subjective articles as quality news

Funded by the UK government, deny ignorance indeed, tell me who authored the insightcrime.org article, every link seems to link to another insightcrime article in a never-ending cycle, there's no direct quotes from anyone either.

These articles are blatanly subjective, truth is only gained from objectivity

The left will always back the heads of a socialist dictatorial regime to the bitter end because those are the only arbiters of moral authority in the world.

Remember it wasn't their system of governance that failed. It was always someone else's fault, usually our own government's (meaning the people in power like AOC and the Congressional Democrats, but who's counting ...), or the failure of the world to live under the same system, or white people, etc. Or it comes back to it being the fault of the people running said system which of course fails to explain why they still back the failures currently running the failing system until the bitter end.

Wrong again. Why do you continue to misrepresent facts? I attached screen shots of what appears on their insightcrime.org web site relating to articles by The New York Times, NPR, Miami Herald and others. Either DENY IGNORANCE OP or sit this one out.

The real reason that venezuela has a murderous dictator and why socialism doesn't work anymore, can be found in this link;

www.worldatlas.com...

It the same reason why the west has been overthrowing governments for the last 70 years, but people are still too dumb to work it out!

I guess in the heads of many here and those possibly plotting a mass shooting because they think dems support Maduro:

I'll say, Pelosi, Schumer, Cummings, Hillary, Obama.

People wake up from this nonsense.

People don't just become your enemy because of differences in opinions or criticism ; despite what your president wants you to think and instill in your head.

Stop the extremist bs

Seems to be all about the oil. Since China and Russia are trying to exterminate the USA and the Russians have boots on the ground there they obviously support Maduro.

No, it is because they are weaponizing the government to stifle any and all dissenting opinions, and want to get rid of checks and balances to maintain complete control of the power.

Along with the media they attack half the country who disagrees. The problem is the politicians and the media, not the people.

I was merely joking.

I find the claim that China and Russia are trying to "eliminate the US" funny.

I find the stepping stone that Venezuela will help them achieve that more humorous.

The year is 2019, they could eliminate us without a forward position in Venezuela, thought it would mean they too would reap what they sowed as we would do the same to them.

Its point and counterpoint. Oil + 30 years out. USA has fracking and so so 7th or 8th ranked reserves. Saudi Arabia is so so friends. We lose them and hmmm. Venezuela has largest oil reserves in the world. The Russians are now on the ground to help Maduro. The US support of several former Russian states is dumb policy decisions plus NATO moves also dumb. Should have left Syria alone. See we messed too much with the bear and hes awakened. So who runs our MSM.

Here's an excellent read on Russia:
