Growing up in the 80's I have NO idea how I missed these punk geniuses...other than growing up in suburban Virginia....

So somehow YT's algorithms decided to link these guys...It's pure punk gold. They're creative, hilarious and play decent high energy early 80's punk.

Something about the rawness of this group and it's utter lack of pretention attracts me.

Also: shame on you world for keeping this from me. And I wonder if Deirdrie's really a slag after all.

Enjoy guys and gals...

I grew up with music from a very early age, first bands I ever got into were SLF, The Pistols, Anti-Nowhere League, GBH and of course, The Toy Dolls, first ever single, bought by my gran for me, Nellie The Elephant when I was 10, although the B side Fisticuffs on Frederick Street was the better song.

And the song you mention, quite sure it was a reference to a character from Coronation Street (which is a well known TV soap over here).

Punk was my thing, but I matured and it got stale, metal is where it's at

Oh I listen to everything these days. I love rock and roll most of all...I can see why some people thing punk is boring, if that's the only genre one listens to...(though I'll never get bored of 2 minute songs that I wish were 3 minutes long.)

I do appreciate the spice of punk especially creative UK bands like this. Adds some nice toe tappers to my playlist...

So British that the intro sounded like that Benny Hill's song in slow speed.

They still have the best version of Riders in the Sky:

A couple other classics from that time period:

They played a few times in the town I live between 79 and 81.
Always a lively affair but got to say the last time it was absolute carnage.

First got in to The Sex Pistols and The Clash then a little bit later SLF.
The I got into Zoundz and many other anarcho bands whilst also listening to and watching lots of Oi stuff.

Seen literally hundreds of punk bands and have a huge record collection.
