The Venezuelan authorities have announced the confiscation at the airport in the north of the country of a consignment of weapons and equipment that came from the United States and were intended "for terrorist groups." About this on Wednesday, February 6, said Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Civil Security of the country Endes Palencia on Twitter.

It is indicated that the weapon was found in a warehouse at the international airport of Valencia (Carabobo state). The operation involved employees of the Bolivarian National Guard and other security forces.

According to the authorities of the country, the confiscated consignment was a cargo delivered to the airport on February 3 aboard an Air Bus that arrived from Miami.

"(It was withdrawn) 19 rifles, 118 stores for rifles, four belts, three sights, 90 radio antennas and six iPhones," the deputy minister wrote in a microblog.

He assured that all information and evidence had been transferred to the Prosecutor General’s Office to continue the investigation and identify those responsible for financing "terrorist groups that are trying to disrupt the peaceful life of the people of Venezuela."

trying to disrupt the peaceful life of the people of Venezuela

If Venezuela is peaceful then could you imagine what a country that was in turmoil must be like?

Of course you can imagine. For example, the USA, where the government has not been able to work for a long time and the army is not funded

They've been working.... We just didn't pay them for a while, big difference.

Also, I'm pretty sure we throw a little money towards "defense", although I am far from an expert.

It's ok, that's only the one that was sent as a distraction. The other shipments already crossed the borders through land. The free people of Venezuela are going to need more than just rifles to fend of the tyrant in thief that rules over them.

Some drones, atgm's , and mortars would really help them out.

Wait until they see the secret weapon we sent down there. A shirtless Putin riding a weasel riding a woodpecker. He's gonna judo chop the hell out of them while scoring 10 goals against the Red Army hockey team.

Oh, can I use your comment as a quote, only in a similar case?

Imagine that after a telephone conversation with Putin, Nancy Pelosi declares himself the interim president of the United States. It is immediately supported by Russia, China and other countries. To support the struggle for freedom and democracy in the United States and the overthrow of the tyrant Trump from around the world, freedom fighters are arriving in the United States, who are already waiting for weapons arriving in the United States from Russia and China. Several retired generals and admirals of the US Army and Navy declare support for Pelosi as president. Mass demonstrations for freedom and democracy against tyranny and totalitarianism are taking place in Los Angeles and New York. Numerous military advisers from Russia and China reside in Mexico and prepare the army of this country to invade the US and overthrow the dictatorship. Detachments from private military companies arrive on the US border. The presidents of Russia and China publicly allow armed aggression of their armies in the United States to support democracy and freedom ...

And then on the PBX appears post of CriticalStinker:

Do you give statistics on the flight of US citizens from the country?

And Venezuelans, as free people. can leave the country for different purposes - from skilled work to rest in resorts)))

This is not a sign of totalitarianism. Or is it?)))

Coast Guard. It was the Coast Guard that was not being paid, not the US Army.

And they are being paid now.

You REALLY should pay attention and educate yourself on things before making such ignorant comments.

Calling Nancy a man.....well......considering how she looks, I can't really ping you on that one.

Yeah, keep laughing at Vladimir Puto (that's his Venezuelan last name) and we'll see who ends up with a polonium handshake.
