Good day fellow axe wielders!

A few years ago I did a short stint on radio-it was a ball of a time, and my on the air partner in crime introduced to some awesome music, but just watch this...I present to you Alvin Lee with 'The Bluest Blues'

I always liked Alvin Lee from the moment I heard his Woodstock version of "going home." Legendary guitarist, that's for sure.

Lovely!
1st 3 chords sound like Am - D - C? Just feeding my ear is still OK 👍🏻👍🏻

One of the dirtiest riffs ever. Playing helicopter in the rain. That bassist was insane too.

Usually the eve of your return to the 'World' there would be lots of music, weed and other things, and 'Going Home' would be on the list.
Ten Years After was alive and well.

ahh

Very nice.
How could I have left this out of my musical rotation?
Glad I did in a way, it sounds new again.

Alvin's vinyl was on the turntable all the time for me back in the 80's

Alvin Lee ftw! I used to love Ten Years After and have a couple of vinyl LPs packed away somewhere.

Tune's not bad. Those slow hand solos get the air-guitar fingers itchin' and I start pulling guitar-face expressions.

Saw Ten Years After at the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach some time in 1968. He was fiendish. Thanks for the cut brother (or sister).
