The BBC is today touting a documentary it has made with the perceived intent of pushing wrecks-it instead of Brexit .

They're trying to use Donald Tusk's version of history, his words, to ridicule ex Prime Minister David Cameron .

As per the title Tusk called his referendum 'stupid' , told him to 'get real' , 'there was no appetite for a revolution' and that he could 'lose everything' .

He claims that Mr Cameron, who did not take part in the programme, felt "there was no risk of a referendum" happening.

But Craig Oliver, Mr Cameron's former communications director, denies this.

"David Cameron spent the whole of the 2015 election campaign making clear he would not lead any form of government that didn't have a referendum," he said on Twitter.

Tusk got really quite threatening :

Mr Tusk warned Mr Cameron that other European prime ministers would not be inclined to help him in the referendum, and says:

"For the first time I saw something close to fear in his eyes. He finally realised what a challenge he was facing."

And after hearing Mr Cameron's decision to quit, Mr Tusk says he told him: "Yes David, it would be very difficult even to imagine that a prime minister who was the leader of Remain's campaign would be just two days later a prime minister negotiating Brexit.

"It was like his day of reckoning was coming, reckoning for his biggest mistake in his life."

If you were the one who was deliver the last thing the European Cabal wanted to hear , would you openly claim it was your idea ?

Ex French presidents Sarkozy and Hollande both warned Cameron off too

telling him: "If you try to break our arm, you'll get nothing."

BUT the trouble with all this retelling of history is that it takes no account of the subterfuge necessary to pull off an effective Brexit .

It's not easy to see but the good ship Britannia has been steering a deceptive course to save it's sovereignty ,to get away from the European pirates . Well they might try to guide it onto the rocks . Rewriting the historical record might serve to try and bring fear and confusion upon the crew . But the more desperate the pirates become , the more obvious it becomes that the resolve to leave was necessary.

The first episode of the three-part series features interviews with former chancellor George Osborne, ex-foreign secretary William Hague, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and former French presidents Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande. Nick Clegg, the UK's then EU ambassador Sir Ivan Rogers and Mr Oliver are also included.

The first episode of Inside Europe: Ten Years of Turmoil, 'We Quit', is on BBC Two on Monday, 28 January at 21:00 GMT and available on iPlayer afterwards.

Worth a watch to see what kind of spin that will be put on the situation.

And if the full bullish attitude of the arrogant EU comes over.

Interesting read. Tusk don't want it as other countries will follow and slowly dismantle the EU empire. Interesting times ahead.

Yeah Cameron fell on hard times...cough cough...another of the 1%'ers landing a plush "thank you" job from his minders.

Escalating military intervention in Syria, as proposed by David Cameron, could ultimately force Britain into de facto alliances with President Bashar al-Assad – a war crimes suspect whose regime Downing Street regards as illegitimate – and with his main backers, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards. It was on the news this morning that the 'Davos' financial conference of 2019

will not be attended by Mrs May as she is too busy with Brexit. However it is

being attended by David Cameron and Tony Blair both ex PM's of the UK.

Tusk et al did not want a referendum. They still cannot handle that a referendum was necessary as it clearly showed there were divisions in the the UK over EU. Indeed, the majority wanted to leave, as was shown.

Flushing out that answer through a referendum is actually a good thing to do. Why Eurocrats think that they can maintain an institution that is not supported by the majority, or to argue against demonstrating that fact, is a worry.

The fact that Tusk is banging on about this just shows how far from reality the EU group-think has gone. They have lost connection with the word "democracy" and "accountably".

This BBC documentary is just going to be a list of out-of-touch politicians complaining about the UK leaving the EU, and how terrible that will be. The underlying message is that the common man/woman have made a gross error and things like referenda should never happen again.

Indeed I often wonder if they are on the same planet as us the ordinary peeps.

Reverse psychology....bring it on BBC....it will only irritate the borderline remainers to see how Cameron was treated and tip them over to leave....which has become evident when people have been asked their view over the last few weeks.

And Mr Tusk is still playing the power game.......

With just weeks to go until the UK is supposed to leave the EU Brussels is preparing

to appoint its first ambassador to London (not wasting much time there?)

British Diplomats fear the EU is about to appoint Martin Selmayr daubed the

monster of Brussels' to the post.

Selmayr the European Commissioners secretary general is the right hand man

of EU President Jean-Claude Juncker,
he would operate with full diplomatic

powers from the EU's London base - in the Smith square building which was the

Tory partys HQ under Thatcher.

All of that and more.
It is no secret that, the late pre-millenniums were deliberately not given a referendum vote on the 'advice' of the gnomes of the home office because a remain vote was deemed to be the outcome...the same advisors also had the referendum date brought forward by a year to exclude a sizeable further amount of referendum voters, thus depriving those slightly younger voters who would in the main, have voted to remain.
The same home office also began issuing 'get out' letters to foreign nationals almost immediately after the referendum until complaints began turning up in the press...the same home office just yesterday also tried to start charging settlers a fee to 'cover' the cost of paperwork to make them eligible to stay in the UK....the move was scrapped by tea time yesterday, again after many protests in parliament this time.
There is no doubt that the whole referendum and all the far right false reporting on the whole aspect of the EU that went with it, was to fear monger to make a leave majority....so small it was...as it turned out.

Tusk told David Cameron to "get real" over his "stupid referendum" before the 2016 Brexit vote, a BBC documentary reveals.

Of all the players in this game Tusk is the one I despise the most , which is saying something given the level of loathing I have for Cameron , gutless wonder that he is.

Mr Cameron decided to resign as prime minister when the Leave campaign won the referendum.
The programme's producers said he did not take part in the programme because he has signed an exclusive deal for his memoirs.
www.bbc.co.uk...

Pathetic Dave.

I think the BBC still make good documentaries , I hope it shows the intransigence of the EU negotiators to the full.

They don't like referendums, do they?

Unless it's the 'right' result.

This presents a prima facie case for sensible people to want nothing to do with this sinister organisation.

Good info

Selmayr – whose grandfather Josef was a Lieutenant Colonel on Hitler’s General Staff in the Balkans and served a four-year prison sentence for war crimes –would have a critical role implementing Brexit, when the UK instantly becomes the EU’s third-largest trading partner.

Also , glad to see you're helping update this forum's long thread which began at the referendum . It'll be interesting to review some of that
