Little Things I Like

I like to curl up to a good book and get lost in the pages I read.
I like hot Chocolate with mini-marshmallows.
I like the smell of laundry fresh from the dryer.
I like petting my kitty and hear her purr.
I like to sit on my sofa watching old black and white movies with my husband.
I like the smell of fresh popped popcorn with lots of butter and salt.
I like the look on my kids' faces when I make them peanut butter fudge.
I like the look on my husband's face while he enjoys his dinner I cooked.
I like the look on my husband's face when he tells me he loves me.
I like growing old with my husband.
I like watching my grandchildren growing up.
What are some of the little things YOU like as well?

Watching my wife fret over Christmas stockings for all the kids and grandchild.

Her face as she talks to her daughter about the new grand baby on the way.

Finally having a good relationship with my kids after the ex tried to poison their minds.

Talking about our plans of getting a place in the country, away from this little apartment.

My wife when just out of the blue, flashes her boobies at me.

Cajun music and slow dances.

I could just keep going on.......

I like getting into clean sheets on a bed after having a soothing warm bath.

I like hot chocolate as well, but I skip the marshmallows and use peppermint schnapps.

I like people who can make me laugh until my gut hurts.

I like sunrises in the summertime and moonlight on the snow in the winter.

I like brownies , warm out of the oven, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

My husband and I watch a lot of movies from the 1930's
through the 1940's.

I love black and white movies from the 30s and 40s.

I like walking out my front door to a warm breeze and palm trees.
I like cold spring water from the dispenser.
I like sitting with all my kitties around.
I like hearing my mother's sweet voice on the phone.
I like hearing my daughter sing when she doesn't think I am listening.
I like waking from sleeping all night (hardly ever happens).
I like visiting the dog park and seeing all the beautiful versions of dog playing and vying for alpha while my sweet pup (Cavalier King Charles) just wants his ball.
I like sphaghetti.

I like pizza, I like bagels, I like hot dogs with Mustard and BEER

I'll eat eggplant, I could even eat a baby deer lalalalalalala la la la

Whos that baby deer on the the lawn over there?

Waking up to warm sunlight streaming through the window.
My goofy cat jumping up to perch on my chest to see if I'm awake.
The bird song outside the window early in the morning. Some hate it. I love it.
Feeding baby calves from a bottle. They are just so sweet.
Clean sheets after a warm shower.
Waking up to a late night thunderstorm and the amazing scent of rain that comes with it.
Picking wild blueberries and blackberries along the trails near our house. So good.
The smell of the Mayday trees and honeysuckle vines blooming in the spring.
And the smell of stew cooking on a cold day. There's just something great about it.

Freshly washed bedding.
Clean house.
Coffee!
Dehydrated Marshmellows.
Snow on Christmas Day.
Scary movies.
When my kids tell me we are best friends.
How many daughter can win a burping contest against any man.
Falling asleep with a loud fan and cold room.
Helping people.

Patting and talking to my dogs. (4)
Feeding my chooks. (chickens)
Feeding the fish in the dam.
Fishing from the rocks or beach at sunrise.
The sound of rain on the corrugated iron roof.
Telling dad jokes to the young ones, even though they are grown up and then watching their faces.
Cooking a roast dinner.
Sleeping without dreaming.

I like being out in the forest late in the afternoon on an overcast fall day.
I like the smell of a fire in the fireplace.
I like the smell of freshly cut wood, and freshly sharpened pencils.
I like it when it first starts to snow ahead of a big storm.
I like the sound of leaves crunching under my feet.
I like the sound of wind through the trees when that's the only sound.
I like quiet and silence.
I like the feeling of security when I come inside during a storm knowing there's plenty of food and supplies.
I like being outside in the fresh air all day on a cool/cold day, and then coming inside.
I love the smell of pot roast cooking when I come inside on a cold day.
I like sunsets.
I like the feeling of getting hard projects accomplished, especially outdoor ones.
I like to see my dogs when they're wiggling all over because they're happy.
I like seeing the newborn calves run around jumping and kicking when they first figure out their legs.
I like it when someone appreciates something and says something about it.
I love a morning nap a few hours after I get up, when I don't have to go to work.

I love it when she sings falsetto.
Also love clear blue mirror lake mornings.

Love my bird feeder- I got a bird feeder for my BD last year. I can see it from my PC and have enjoyed it immensely. I figured out quick that birds do not come to the feeder for the h*** of it. There has to be food!
Love grilling and probably could learn a lot more about it but can grill a good steak and hamburger
Love crushed red pepper on my sausuage & hotdogs, pizza and Mexican food
Love the Steak Fajita Quesadilla best sinse I mentioned Mexican food
Love strait black coffee. Ground is best. I don't care for the ten dozen other flavors though hazelnut ain't bad. Capachino is too sweet for me but taste good. Gives me the shakes.
Love unsweet tea if you can imagine that. I will pour sweet tea right down the drain if gotten by mistake.
Love almonds daily unsalted preferably. Cashews would be 2nd on the nut list but I really
Love sugar cinnamon pecans - I don't get them often but I can make them disappear right before your eyes.
I love to go down south to the big time farm lands where you see one house and nothing else but land far as you can see. Go a few miles and you see it again and again over and over.
I hauled asphalt yesterday to such a place and man what a site! Only Springtime would have made it better.
