apparently immigrants aren't enough, so french youth took it upon themselves to deal even more damage.
to their own neighbourhood.
to their own country.
to fellow french citizens and businesses.

you wanna get rid of your government? that's not how you do it. violence is an option only against government, and even that's an extreme solution, called revolution.

this isn't a revolution. this is pure insanity. how can a supposedly civilized country be full of such morons?

disgusting.

this is what happens when you ignore people long enough.

"The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth" - African proverb

the way I see it is if their grievances were being addressed maybe they wouldn't burn your house down. this is coming to the US soon, just wait. I think you think they should just passively deal with their situation while the government autonomously forces immigration down their throat and raises their taxes to deal with it.

I support it. burn the place down that's my opinion. that will wake people up out of their slumber GO FRANCE!

France Bleu says that two of those arrested are in direct connection to the Apple store incident — apparently wearing hoodies and puffy jackets didn’t help — and were set to appear before the Bordeaux criminal court today.

Sounds more like two criminals taking advantage of the situation rather than people who are part of the protests.

Going to show the 1% the difference between 1% and 99%.
A bit late, but it started.

two?
did you watch the twitter videos embedded in that article?

besides, no sane criminal would steal Apple hardware, especially directly from the store. it'll all get locked remotely right after they'll finish dealing with the inventory. no, those aren't regular criminals. those are idiots, trying to take advantage of the situation.

if they're stupid enough, all that hardware will get located pretty fast.

The French have always been like that to some extent. I guess we were not seeing it over the last decade so much so the younger generation does not realize how uncivil they can get there.

i'm not sure if i'm more disgusted by those videos or by some reactions here. can you really be so naive?

they won't burn any palaces to the ground. they won't even get near them, not that they're even trying - all they're doing is hurting other citizens.

if they wouldn't behave like an angry, brainless mob, perhaps it would get some traction. imagine most of Paris getting out on the streets, just standing there peacefully, blocking all traffic for half of a day, and showing a middle finger to the government.

PEACEFULLY.

paralyzing the city would be a serious warning. "change your ways, or you'll never leave your palace while we're burning it to the ground".

but it's something else to burn down the palace, and something else to burn down your neighbour's house, office, store or whatever else that the government couldn't care less about.

what's next, hospitals?

It is pretty pathetic of you to isolate one instance. Try to see the big picture if that is possible. Most people are SICK of this globalist garbage being forced down our throats all the time.

sorry, our country was built out of revolution and most of Europe's institutions especially France were built out of revolution. there's a time for peace and there's a time for ass kicking and the powerful elite and upper classes aren't listening

when people aren't listening they can't be reasoned with and when you can't be reasoned with force is the next step

then focus your anger on the government, not on a random goddamn STORE.

people that can't be reasoned with, should be locked down in lunatic asylum. only in this case, that would mean the protesters.

Can't reason with anger- not in the system we've got.

Try and fix it- you'll spend thirty years cutting red tape just to be overruled by some lawyer in the pocket of big money.

Robbing a store is just kid stuff, but you'll never overthrow tyranny following their own rules-that's how you wind up in prison at best.
