I could see this being the absolute reason Mattis took the job and remains at the helm of the DoD. Something tells me there's nothing about it Mattis (or Kelly for that matter) 'likes' at all.

ETA: What is glaringly obvious to me from their statements, is the blatant omission of further endorsement of President Trump. Look and look. It's just not there.

It's no secret that President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis often disagree, but the disciplined retired Marine general has kept any private frustrations from leaking into public view.

I find it very sad that you, and most of your mindset, will believe a person writing a book based on 2nd hand stories and anonymous sources, but dismiss direct statements to the falsification of the writings by the actual people he is writing about.

Mattis denies it, unlike Tillerson who when the deal about his moron came out he never denied it. Trump fired him
