Former President George H.W. Bush hospitalized after contracting infection, spokesman says

"President Bush was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital yesterday morning after contracting an infection that spread to his blood," Bush spokesman Jim McGrath said on Monday. "He is responding to treatments and appears to be recovering. We will issue additional updates as events warrant.

For some reason I'm not surprised. I have seen a couple die one after the other after a very long marriage.
Last week President Bush said he wanted to go to Maine to rest for a while stating life should go on.

Sympathy for the family, but he was a lying warmonger who led my country into conflict which killed many innocent people.
I hope he burns in hell, if there is such a place.

I made two threads on Barbara. There is little love for George. The man has more blood on his hands than cancer.


Methinks there will not be much of a tribute to him and IMO rightfully so but thanks for the heads up on his status.
