Young Americans are suing over climate change.
a.k.a carbon overdose suicide ...
Perhaps the most notable example of youth activism is
the 21 young Americans who are suing against the federal
government for doing too little to stop climate change.
The Trump administration has tried to block the case,
but, so far, it has been unsuccessful. Our Children’s Trust,
the nonprofit supporting the lawsuit, is bringing similar
suits against Alaska, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts,
New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon and, most recently,
Washington. Earlier this year, 13 young Washingtonians,
including Zero Hour founder Jamie Margolin, filed suit
against the state for failing to address the carbon crisis.

The Trump administration had tried to prevent the
children's thrust with a trick: they argued that the
lawsuit was too extensive and would lead to a complex
legal dispute and a "constitutional crisis"


"We are building a movement across the country and are
ready to kick out politicians who put fossil fuel lobbyists
above our futures, no matter their political party,”
said William Lawrence, a volunteer with Sunrise Michigan.
Sunrise Movement is currently training hundreds of
volunteers across the country to rally voters in the
2018 midterm elections.

The real crisis is the degradation of the natural environment.
Fat Cats are on notice .
Coal and oil are toxic . The youth of today don't want that
poisonous death spiral to continue .
Renewable energy is the ONLY way to go and the older generation
owes it to their kids to divert all government assistance in that direction.
So this is more about correction than profit .

To be fair, Obama and his administration blocked a lot of Media, and also, the Media didn't want the narrative of people protesting Obama, especially Left/Leftists people, not saying there was as much outrage, but now the Media uses the narrative as an "Anti-Trump" movement, instead of the actual protest.

And let's talk about the mining for the aluminium, lithium, nickel and such for the batteries.
Better turn thier heat off and don't run the A/C this Summer. I hope they walk or bike everywhere, because if they use a car or public transportation [ which runs on oil ] well...do I really have to say hypocrite again?

Matter of fact, let's just stop ALL oil production right now ok? Never use another drop from this day forward and count on solar and wind. How loud do you think the precious children will scream when they can't play their WII or XBox [ oh wait, can't make those anymore ] use their ICrap 10 to get on Snapchat and there's no gas in the car [ that thing that burns carbon based fuel to haul their lazy asses around but how loud will they scream when they have to walk ? oh my god the horror! ]

Meanwhile, while we are pissing away our future, China is building a new coal fired power plant every two weeks. A nuclear one every 6 weeks, and is expanding their investment in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Drone technology. All of while are controlled by their military. Yes kids, lets all go sing kumbiya together while in the next 5-10 years china because the number 1 economic power in the World. In the next 25-35 years they become the next number one super power, and the BRIC, as well as Pacific rim pushes to align with China as the american dollar collapses under its massive unsustainable debt forcing us to eliminate all military expenditures, forcing us into a depression, and lowering the american way of life. But yes, lets go ahead and shut down our electric grid cause some asshole kids don't comprehend the big picture that we are at war to maintain our dominance. A war that is the west loses will have severe repercussions not just for the USA, but Europe, and Taiwan, Japan as well.

All the cars, cellphones and computer 'emissions' pale in comparison to coal fired power plants, mine production, oil refineries, airline traffic, trains, shipping...

Big industry that produces power to light cities all night long, move goods around the world and wage wars is the bigger problem.

If you live in modern suburbia, your food and electricity come from miles away, you commute miles to work, your utilities are produced miles away. Most everything you do nowadays requires you to get in your car and drive for miles to get there to buy something or do something.

People no longer have a choice...

I don't think anyone is really against getting our power from a more sustainable way, or a greener way if you will.

The pushback from most I think is we cant stop our coal power plants before we have a reasonable means to replace it, that is stupid and short sided.

The only blame I can see towards the older generation is that we've done a poor job of educating our children. We should have taught them that by hard work and dedication, they could grow up to one day find a solution. To inform them that the problem isn't as simple as turning off everything that pollutes the planet. That pointing the finger of blame doesn't solve anything.

In the end, it won't be climate change that dooms the coming generations. It will be a realization that there are just too many people in concentration.
