Thank you. The Police seem very interested in that one photo.

One can only speculate at the moment but there is not much to go on so far.

He won’t be in there till later this week, we are so busy at the moment with losing a couple of days productivity due to the snow late last week

By then we all should know

Toxicology tests are due to be published this afternoon

His son died last year on a holiday with his wife in St Petersburg due to liver failure

Sanctions.

Campaign amongst allies to sanction as well. Its a violation if the sovereignty of Britain. Just 2 generations back you'd have rolled up your sleeves and handled it. 6 generations back you'd have rolled over them and cornered the vodka trade.

We are talking about Britain....right?

British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has issued a warning to Russia.

UK will respond "robustly" to any evidence of Russian involvement in collapse of former spy, Boris Johnson says
www.bbc.co.uk...

I'm sure Vlad isn't quaking in his boots , how robustly we could act against Russia remains to be seen but given there's not much we could do about the Litvinenko murder I doubt it would be any more robustly than that.

Nothing will happen as a result of this. Even if they find out 100% who did it, do you really think it'll be easy to directly tie it to the Russian govt?
It'll be some mafia related guy, sent by the intelligence services at the behest of the govt. He'll be linked to the Russians and there'll be plenty of circumstantial stuff but not nothing definitive.
The UK govt will posture and bluster a bit and then it'll all go back to normal.
That's if it turns out the guy just didn't have one too many vodkas with his lunch...

I doubt a major incident would be declared if there was any doubt that this is some kind of poisoning , the history of Russian acts on UK soil gives a firm indication of who is responsible for this latest assassination attempt but as with the others strong words and possibly sanctions are the only tools available to respond to it.

Going by the pictures released earlier today police believe they are looking for this man.

C'mon, My bike camera takes better quality video than some of these Cameras we have all over the UK. We might be the most watched coutry on earth but what good is it if the Cameras are like 1980's standard.

Only trouble is there is no evidence that was was assassination.

As far as I know they don't even know what was wrong with them.

Bad coke maybe?

It would be interesting to know what Corbyn would do about it.

Bad coke?

Up to 10 people were treated in hospital for this incident

Two police men had wheezing chest problems while breathing and one of the ambulance staff is still being treated

There is a period of 15 mins between the gym CCTV footage of these Russians walking side by side without a care in the world and then being found fighting for life sat on a bench

Do about what.? Nothing has been determined as of yet as to what has gone wrong here.

Anyway, If indeed it turns out to be an russian assassination attempt on UK soil Corbyn would probably do what Blair, Cameron and May have done about Litvinenko. Expel a couple of no mark diplomats and forget about it.

Why would you expect Corbyn to do anything about it ?

The Conservatives are in power at this time ( unfortunately ).

There is a fair bit of speculation that Russia is responsible which in the circumstances is not surprising but yes, at this stage, all we can do is speculate.

You are forgetting that there was a murder investigation and that the British Government tried hard to get Andrey Lugovoy extradited which was stonewalled by Russia.
