I've always had a big thing for her.
A lot of her tracks seem to bring out this odd emotion in me, like something inside is about to burst.
Amazing how every one of her albums, spanning over 40 years, continue to evoke those feelings.

A true artist!

She had to fight the record company to get that released as a single. Same with Wuthering Heights. They both charted very well.

She knew how to do it.

She was a great singer /songwriter / performer who paved the way for those who would follow , a rare talent sadly underutilised.

She was also very Hot.

The man with the child in his eyes and Kate in a White catsuit. I still haven't got over it and never got inside it.

One of my favourite tracks. Absolutely bonkers in the best possible way.

Great video too!

Absolutely. You have the obvious Bjork, and Tori Amos ect.
But even with bands like Nine Inch Nails you can hear a heavy influence. The whole Fragile album almost seems to have been cultivated from the little soundscape at the end of Under The Ice from Hounds of Love.

Extended live version of James and the Cold Gun.
Mesmerising.
I wish the studio version went on like this instead of fading out early.

Ah, you posted Get Out of My House.
Good man!

I love The Dreaming album. It's a very angry record and the whole thing is so... unleashed. Very daring with a massive set of balls. Brilliant!
It just might be my favourite album of her's, even though Hounds of Love should be.

I've always listened to Kate Bush and have all of her albums, most on CD's but also several on vinyl. The video of Get Out of My House that I posted in the other thread is a fanmade video. Many of those videos are fanmade, btw, but very well made. Like the video of Wild Man, a very good fanmade video. I like the ending where the "cat woman" who looks like Kate Bush blows out a candle and the TV switches off. Hounds of Love is a great album. A great track on Hounds of Love is The Big Sky. She has so many great songs, it's hard to pick a favorite...

Did you know Youth from Killing Joke played bass on The Big Sky? That's not him in the video though, that's Del Palmer, the lucky bastard. Lol
