Apparently the Dossier was in fact used as the basis for the FISA warrants and the base for the investigations into Trump Russia collusion bs.

New Letter Reveals Dirty Dossier Was Used to Justify Mueller Investigation

According to a new letter obtained exclusively by Fox News, House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes expressed concern to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that the Trump dossier was used as justification for opening the Mueller investigation.

Lawmakers want dossier author, ex-British spy prosecuted for lying to FBI

Two top Republican senators have formally recommended that the Justice Department and FBI investigate the author of the controversial anti-Trump “dossier,” in the first known criminal referral from Congress as part of lawmakers’ Russia probes.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., made the referral in a Jan. 4-dated letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray. The move ramps up congressional Republicans’ investigation of the salacious document and those involved in creating it, as Special Counsel Robert Mueller continues to probe Russian meddling in the 2016 election and possible collusion with Trump associates.

The memos Comey provided to his friend to leak to the media apparently contained classified information.

Grassley says Comey leaked classified information to professor pal, demands answers

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley is pressing the Justice Department for answers on whether James Comey violated bureau rules, saying it appears the former FBI director leaked “at least one” classified memo to a professor friend shortly after his firing.

Grassley, R-Iowa, penned a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein late Wednesday, saying he and his staff had reviewed the Comey memos which were “created purportedly memorializing his interactions with President Trump.” They did so in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) at the FBI and the Senate, because the FBI deemed the “majority of the memos” to be “classified.”

This has turned into an absolute sham by the left and needs to stop.

The infamous dossier.

Paid for by both the CLinton campaign and the DNC.

Everyone involved should be under indictment.

What an effing farce.

I think a lot of politicians are going to crap their pants when President Trump says enough is enough and calls for a Federal Government wide Investigation into this, for lack of a better word, Coup d etat. I guess they don't believe he would do it. lol. They just don't learn. Trump plays their game better than them. He hates to get beat, so he wins.

This thread is a thread on it's own. Your link is about the investigation of the dossier's author. This OP is about how the dossier was used for criminal activity under Obama's administration. Two completely different topics.

In his defense my post started out the same as the one he linked to. I just flipped the lead story and changed it to the dossier.

Don't forget it allegedly started with the GOP during the primary. They should burn too.

1. "Rep Steve Smith" is a parody account not an actual member of Congress.

2. Truthfeed News is fake af so why not just link to Fox?

3. The "Exclusive Letter" that is being claimed as "proof" is just Nunes restating the narrative he's pushing as a "concern" in a letter to Rosenstein which he then clearly leaked to Fox News. There's no proof of anything so your title is completely false and your commentary is wishful thinking wrapped up in fake news.

House expands Russia probe to FBI, Justice use of unconfirmed dossier to snare Trump

The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence has expanded its 2016 election investigation from a starting point of Russian interference to an end-game that focuses on federal law enforcement and how it conducted a drive to snare President Trump and his people.

Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, California Republican, is accusing the Justice Department and the FBI of misleading him in “a pattern of behavior that can no longer be tolerated.” He charges that Justice claimed it possesses no documents related to the infamous Trump dossier, then, under pressure, produced “numerous” such papers.

Republicans in the first half of 2018 are likely to wind down the starting-point inquiry into Russian hacking of Democrats and whether Trump aides helped.

sadly enough the info is accurate.... plus

1 - The DOJ / FBI backed down and gave full access to the dossier to Nunes before the imposed deadline for contempt charges were filed.
2 - FusionGPS lost their court battle and must turn over their financial records to the committee.
3 - Mr. Steele was referred to the DOJ for charges of lying to the FBI regarding false statements he gave as to which media outlets he shopped the story around to.
4 - Lindsey Graham also told the media in an interview that the info he saw regarding the dossier was concerning with relation to how it was used and represented.

I just had an epiphany. What if Mueller uses Flynn as precedent to charge previously untouchable people for lying to the FBI? HRC lied multiple times to them and nothing happend to her. Steele apparently as well. Creating a precedent in Flynn's case would help tremendously in going after them. Hmm.

Mr. Steele did that at the request of the head of Fusiongps - twice. The first time did not generate any interest from the media groups. He was told to try again some time later and did.
