Warning over new Android virus which can physically melt phones

Good old Kaspersky Labs have discovered a new Trojan that can cause you mobile phone to actually melt.

The Trojan masquerades as an antivirus or porn app – but then takes over handsets once it’s installed.

The Loapi Trojan can force Android handsets to mine cryptocurrency – putting the processor under so much strain the phone overheats and breaks.

Once on a user’s phone it keeps putting up notifications asking for administrative rights – hoping that users will grant them either by accident or just to get peace.

The app can carry several malicious payloads, including serving up adverts, turning the phone into a ‘zombie’ for use in cyber attacks or mining cryptocurrency.

I've heard that those porn apps can actually be pretty hot, but this is the first time I've ever heard of one melting the computer it's running on.

Well wait, is there a diff at 1440p and 2160p? also, does it matter if its 144hz or 240hz?

At true 240Hz the refresh screen rate makes video viewing go quite smooth without distortions.

Screen size only then matters when you start to get into 72" plus screens. Then you have to look at pixel quality for that size matter.

An interesting idea. I bought one of those Google cardboard type VR headsets at Staples last night for $5.00. I'll have to give it to one of my friends to see if that makes the game more playable.

Phones go down people will be dropping like its Surrogates.

Maybe the virus was started by the manufacturers of phones to boost their business. Or by the companies that sell them at big markups or with contracts.
