Part of me hopes something big does happen on the 23rd. Just a small part .

A big quake on saturday would be interesting. I say that from the safety of Kansas.

You may be worried about them, but they manage to account for a far smaller annual death toll than the ones in Chicago.

Volcanic action is sure to follow at some of these weak points, maybe not tomorrow, but eventually.

Had to be sure. You talk like a lot of people who think Kansas is the straight up Wild West and everyone is just itching to shoot everyone else instead of it being a pretty nice patch of ground.

Mostly all of my family lives there, and someday, I'm headed back. But right now, I'm stuck about 20 miles into Missouri.

No. Not actually. Pretty sure those went away in the 60's.

Most of the land based missile silos were decommissioned and missiles are now mostly sub based.

There are still about 450 active silos in the US, but they are located in the states of Montana, Wyoming and North Dakota

I hear if you have the means, they are turning the old silos into some posh doomsday bunkers though.
