Congrats on the 100 millionth anti-Trump thread on ATS. Have a cookie.

Still a ways to go from the anti-clinton thread count though.

Shoot, we just got a new thread and the first two words were "King Obama."

These clowns whine about relevant, current POTUS being bashed on but never have anything to say when it comes to irrelevant, former POTUS's being bashed on haha.....

To all of the partisan hacks - thank you. You've destroyed my favorite website.

we have Hispanic food in our grocery stores now - the horror!

didn't you whine about "liberal" bike paths in your town once, too. good lord...

If you want to pick out and target only one of my comments go ahead. But when I walk into a grocery store in mother flipping Wisconsin (80%+ German) and there is a Mexican bakery and the produce section is covered with migrant families who are speaking another language, you can bet your ASS I'm upset. They redesigned our local grocer to accommodate two new sections, a Mexican bakery and the new central America produce section. What's funny is since Trump this supermarket has changed and I can actually walk in and hear English language being spoken. That's making America great again!

Again, that's just one point I had.

Man, you sound awfully triggered.

And? You have anything else?

Soon enough Trump will have us in another war, we can dress up in red, white and blue and count the dead; won't that be great.

It's not as bad here as some other websites. On Reddit, I got the attention of some crazy person who sends me random messages from 20+ accounts telling me how great Trump is, and systematically downvotes anything I post, with every single account.

We'll agree to disagree. I'm not going to chase down examples, as they are plentiful and easily found using Google.

Your assessment of no limitations on our liberties by the federal government in the last 40 years is absolutely laughable, though. Hell, I'm now forced to buy medical insurance or face a federal penalty.

I should be free from federal mandates to buy products in the private sector.

One example is all that you need, but there are many, many more that span those 40 years and beyond.

But America is already great.
Great at war mongering
Great at spending on military equipment
Great at jailing people for victimless crimes
Great at waging war against its own people
Great at militarizing its police

Man, if we only had a two party system so it could undo the damage of the other party when in control.

We already do and none of those things have been repealed, ended or curtailed. The current administration is actually trying to strengthen all of them.

That was my point. The two parties are on the same lobbyist team

Eh... I really don't believe this. My theory is that things are far more complicated and the different views and sides all combine to create a cluster# that just makes it look like all the politicians are sided against the public.

Sure they are more complicated but at the core its pretty simple. Its about money and power, Its naive to think that a DNC or GOP candidate cares more about political ideals than MONEY. Despite the party or what the rhetoric sounds like the actions tend to benefit the large lobbying groups.

What's worst is the clowns that complain about the quality of the site while they sit there and do nothing but complain and bring down the quality of the site.

Yes, money is at the core, but there are different drivers too. Different monied interests buy favors from different politicians that are more susceptible to their concerns but pass over others that they know won't accept it. Then someone else with another bag of money comes along with different interests. This person may end up giving that money to someone else entirely. All these politicians act on different interests and it all creates the cluster# we know currently.

It also isn't right to say that the public doesn't have a politician's ear. First there ARE politicians who do things for their public. Even the corrupt ones have been known from time-to-time to work in their constituents' interests. Furthermore there are also lobbying sources that represent the public's interests. Things like unions for example. Now, of course, they have their own problems, but again that all feeds into how everything is just one big cluster#.

It refers to the time before Socialist policies infected the nation so that it festered for decades until it came to a head like a big giant puss pocket that burst forth spewing its poison everywhere when Obama took the helm.

I'm curious what era in American history you think this occurred during.

It came to a head with Obama, Trump's appeal was to reverse his hyper anti Americanism agenda which pervaded all foreign and domestic policies he implemented. We see it in the reversal of facing terror, rouge nations, illegal immigration, trade deals, regulations, bad deals like the Paris climate accords and the Iran nuclear deal, the decimation of our military. Some past examples before Obama's hyper anti Americanism are NAFTA and the many deals with North Korea that utterly failed.

Obviously not what I stated, it got hyperactive under Obama. So much so that a nobody politician like Trump used the hate that Americans have for it invading their way of life to defeat the biggest shoe in candidate of all time.

I don't equate money with liberty. Besides that, the responsible thing to do was to buy health insurance, so a mandate shouldn't matter it was already something you should be doing.

Really? These are the words I'm responding to:

It refers to the time before Socialist policies infected the nation so that it festered for decades until it came to a head like a big giant puss pocket that burst forth spewing its poison everywhere when Obama took the helm.

So when in American history did Socialist policies not "infect the nation"?

America has a bomb that uses a Quantum Bubble to create a False Vacuum, and ultimately destroys the entire Universe.

Do you really think it matters 2 #s who is the President of that weapon is, or if it's country is considered 'great' by its people?

We're only even 'great' when we say so, by us, pretty pathetic system of propaganda. I prefer the delusional American that thinks it's Great, not these depressed losers who are equally disillusioned.

Where we had NUCLEAR families the culture was more polite,NOT counting what we didn't KNOW at the time ,we want EVERYONE to have THEIR idealized version of a WHITE PICKET FENCE life in peace in a libertarian sort of way.
Money says no,it's kept in place by a global system.
Libs SCREAM no , They want GLOBALISM.

And we are painted as Nazis when they see what DIDN'T exist then in that picture.
THE only thing that could make a TYRANNICAL America is A deep Coup(Hillary) backed by ALL of the MILITARY ,alone.
IT STILL won't work without infrastructure and environmental damage and the would be WMDs or the survivors could wear the enemy down with Guerrilla tactics.

..We work for it and say:'SCREW you ,get your own like I have,NOBODY'S gonna give you a damn THING without YOUR giving a lot FIRST" ,I don't really require those to listen to me, who refuse.
I SAW how the world fixes those kind the hard way.
It is really TOO bad as well.
