This article is deeply disturbing. When you move scientists out of you jobs because you don't like hearing the truth, and then appoint completely unqualified, highly partisan people to important positions of leadership in the government then something is very wrong. While I already disliked Trump, now I see that he really is a fascist, dictator who is a threat to America. i would think abuse of power like this plus cronyism and incompetence should be enough for impeachment on top of everything else he has done. Trump is trying to destroy America by making it an oligarchy.

People used to be bled to cure them. Science should always be questioned. Hell, eggs were bad then they weren't. Fat was the enemy, but now that's okay and it's sugar. Science isn't a sure thing because it is always evolving.

Question everything.

I'm not overly concerned there's something the article isn't telling you. Clovis was the Inspector General of the United States Space Command and the North American Aerospace Defense Command. It's not a war against science though I don't think he should have got the position do to some racist views he seems to have but that's another story.

Indeed Question everything...

I read ... impeachment ... facist...

Something is wrong with America and it isn't Trump , it's the main stream media and scientists that like money more than research.

What I do care about is a stable world leader. If someone , anyone can do the job of restoring USA i think it's President Trump.

I think your hate has blinded you to critical thinking. The government is going to stop investing in A.I. ...so what (Darpa is still looking and working and funding)...When Google and others are advancing the art of A.I. one heck of allot better than any over spent government program ever could.

Climate denier ??? When the top 100 (yes 100) climate models are so far off the actual observed temps that no one should take them seriously much less make government policy with such carp models.

I am not a Trumpet ... but I am also not a believer in alarmist liberal articles that claim the world is ending because they lost an election

Trump is one of them.

He lied his ass off to get elected then broke every promise he made to the american people.

He's not at war with science when it comes to global warming, he's simply against the inconclusive "evidence" and general narrative on global warming. ...Like literally the other hundreds of thousands of people on Earth.

He did?

Even Politico says that however much you dislike him, you have to credit him for attempting to fulfill his promises. His major promises were the wall, the repeal, the travel ban, the climate accord - he has acted on all of them. Much to my surprise actually.

With regards to science (to keep this somewhat on topic), it is not like he has done a 180 there either.

Thats a load of crap.

He promised to improve relations with Russia, (new lows).

Stop intervening in other countries? Drops the biggest bomb ever on Afghanistan (for no reason) and fires dozens of tomahawks at a syrian airbase, based on a lie about assad gassing people.

Building the wall, getting control of wall street, he's the same as the rest, a minion of deep state...

the rich are still rich, the poor are still poor and the bpmbs are still falling.

Saying Science should be questioned explicitly to make Religion seem creditable?

Because Science is already about questioning Science. That's like what exactly it already is.

Another way to put it, is there was a scientific reason people were bled, and Questioning Science is responsible for why they are now not, and this itself is a process of Science and the Method itself. Science fixes itself with criticism. Religion rejects almost all criticism. The practice itself was used because it had coincidental results of lowing blood pressure and releasing hypertension. They didn't do it because they're masochists, they thought it helped people.

Trial and Error is a basic part of Science. So it's observation and questioning.

Religion is a social entrapment. An organization interested in it's own survival. Science is fluid, even if you're not good at Science, you don't need anything special to be a part of it, and Science doesn't care if you like it or not. -You can do it by yourself. This to me hits home the most. You cannot practice Religion alone, you need to be socially inclined to. Even if you think you can read the Bible alone, none of that would exist without Churches, Priests, the Pope, worshipers etc. and constant propaganda. The church tries to create an maintain an image, mostly for it's own benefit alone. Science does not.

No other organization in the world has done more questionable things than Religion too. But it's pretty clear what horse you back.

I'm gonna let you in on something. It doesn't matter who's in power. There will still be rich and there will still be poor. The question is does government get it of the way and allow the poor with the ability, the inclination and the desire to succeed, actually succeed? Or do they inhibit success under the guise of fixing what can't and shouldn't be attempted to be fixed.

People used to be bled to cure them.

That was because of mystics and religious beliefs. Christian writings advised which saints' days were favorable for bloodletting.

You can thank the introduction of scientific medicine for putting an end to such archaic practices.

That's ridiculous. Yes that is what science is designed to be. That is NOT what it is. It is a corrupted, politicised, money and power machine that is as controlled and manipulated as any power on earth.

No, that is not a load of crap. He did not proceed to 'break every promise he made to the American people." That is simply not true.

Also, one can hardly put it on Trump that the relations with Russia is what it is.

Time will tell how many promises he succeeds in fulfilling and how many he ends up breaking for whatever reason - be it congress, carelessness or constitution - but as of now, we simply do not know. We are months, not years into his presidency.

If you want to repeal and replace (hehe) the statement that Trump broke every promise he made to the American people with, say, that he have not fulfilled all - or even most - of his promises, then I am onboard. But he certainly have moved on some of the bigger ones.

Have you noticed the "Global Warming" lefty approved scientists getting busted on the reg for manipulating numbers? Want to throw those in your op too, or does it not fit your teams agenda?
Bill Nye (who has about the same level of education as most of us), and the liberal man and wife team of Snopes get thrown around as the experts by liberals all day and night as a mic drop for the climate types.
Come on now, deny ignorance right?! Question everything, including your team.

They are spending way too much on research and are not properly interpreting the information, often half of the research is not even read. A lot of that scientific research is being purposely misinterpreted to gain more money to do more research in the field. That practice goes back a hundred years and probably much longer on a lesser basis.

I read a lot of research and do believe the research is necessary but often question how that information from the research is applied.
