Syrias going down. Tv said the Tillerson meeting was non-productive and thats even after Tillerson offered that Russia could "put in their own government in syria". Tillerson doesnt care who runs Syria but was adament that Assad has to go.

Getting the popcorn....who wants extra butter on theirs?

Saw the report in the OP earlier, then Syria denied it.

between North Korea and Syria, I can't keep up with everything. can we just blow up one or the other so I can narrow the focus again?
maybe if China takes nk, we take Syria, and then Russia can have iran (or Afghanistan. oh wait, sore subject)...

Syria will endure like it has been. The Russians, Iranians and Syrians are tired of US diplomats telling them "Assad must go", like some childish fantasy, and the tired ultimatums, "You are either with with US or against US".

The US empire is in decline, thrashing about in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Baltics, Syria, threatening Russia thru Ukraine, and Asia now thru Korea.

The same mistake was made by other Empires, opening too many fronts. Natural result of unchecked aggression, greed, and Empirical aspirations.

Thats what they mean when they say history doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme.
