The US military official said the Pentagon was examining specifically whether a Russian warplane had bombed a hospital in Khan Sheikhoun five hours after the initial chemical attack, with the aim of destroying evidence.
A US defense official says intelligence shows a Russian drone flew over the hospital in Idlib that was treating victims of the chemical attack, prior to the site being later bombed by an unknown aircraft.
The Russians operate drones in the area routinely so the Pentagon cannot be certain the drone operator even knew what was happening, but the drone was a Russian asset. The US military has a variety of classified technical means to determine who is operating aircraft in the region.

US investigates possible Russia role in Syria chemical attack

So was this the real reason Trump bombed the airfield? Did the Russians really bomb the hospital treating the victims of the chemical weapons? Who knows, but it does add a new twist.

Also US intel contradicts Russia's by saying that 58 out of 59 missles hit their targets. The Russians say that only 23 did. Is russia embarrassed they couldn't intercept even one tomahawk? Or is the US lying?

What say you ATS?

Any good psyop is delivered in stages...

Considering Nikki Haley's speech, the game of chess is finished.

Now we will see the true colors, or we are being fooled by both.

They Never Learn

The Era of the big lie has not ended

Where is the press conference with proof of Syrian and Russian involvement in the chemical attack?

Points:

The US has NO LEGAL RIGHT TO BOMB Syria.

If they wanted to involve themselves, they should have gone to the UN and had an investigation and then if it was proven their charges were accurate then they have could approve some kind of penalty.

What is the US the world wide policeman?

God on earth?

Remember Iraq, with all those lies. Have people forgotten that day. And with Trump who lies as he breathes how can we believe them.

Has the media forgotten their complicity in Iraq Already?

I'm appalled at how quickly the US decided to missile the **** out of Syria without even conducting a legitimate investigation first.

Neocons and war mongers were salivating well-before this attack. This false flag (which is what I believe it was) is the perfect catalyst to set the War Machine back in motion.

This is a stupid premise as no evidence would be destroyed. The bodies would still be present and autopsies could be performed and would still show the results of Sarin if used. Plus, some of the bodies were transported to hospitals in Turkey and had already been autopsied that showed the use of Sarin.

I don't get it, it's like we've gone back in time a few years to where Obama's posse was trying to oust Assad, now Trump's gang wants to do it ? I guess nothing changes, a pig with lipstick is still a pig

Why did a US senator say that Syria could have bombed an ISIS ammo dump containing wmd? And more importantly why did the CNN reporter look like she was caught with her pants down when the senator mentioned it?

There already exists a mechanism for doing these investigations and they were used when the US/UN wanted the Chemical withdrawn from Syria a few years ago. Why dont they use OPCW now.... The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons ?

I dont think it is fair tha the US should do these investigations on their own. It sure aint fair towards Russia or Syria.

When there’s something being talked about in the news on a regular basis, and if one angle of the story is being consistently reported by various reputable news organizations, you can be sure there’s something else to the story......

Has anyone heard anything of yellow stone or San Andreas fault. I don't know. This all seems like something else is going on that "they" don't want us to know about.

How can you trust any news when everyone feels entitled to their opinion. The thing is those that work at news agencies. Have no opinions. That's what they are there for. Speak the truth and nothing but. The even sadder part is that at least half of us fall for for it.

I asked this question once and I'll ask it again.
In a room full of lairs. Who do you trust?

Bomb first, ask questions later. I didn't have much respect for Trump to begin with but I am willing to give him a #. This whole scenario is crap though. He was either tricked by his advisers or he is a part of the military industrial complex we all love so much.

An Independent investigation won't give the US the answer they want.

They want to "investigate" it themselves so they can fabricate lies and propaganda.

Of course Russia is involved, even if the stupid idea they bombed a warehouse full of Sarin, why did Assad not state that it was missing when they allegedly removed their stockpile in 2013?

Or are we to believe that ISIS can now make sarin and the infrastructure to do so in the middle of Rebel held territory and a blast is an effective way of releasing it?

Or maybe that the Rebels would store Sarin among their own people or use it on their own when they have the backing of the US and Allies?

Nope, Russia was complicit in knowing that Assad was going to use nerve gas on civilians to create massive casualties, then spy on the casualties going to a hospital and then bombing the hospital.

It also knew full well that doing this in a civ pop area would create a majority of civilian casualties which they would be bombing in hospitals.

It is despicable on every level and the blame lies with Assad and Putin.

Putin also who illegally invaded Crimea without a UN resolution.

At least the Americans stand up to these dictators, the UN just passes resolutions which aren't worth the paper they are printed on or the pixels they are made of and they only pass them if Russia dont veto them.

Well he didn't declare them because they weren't his to declare. The Islamists have used chemical weapons over 50 times in Syria, I don't remember the outrage during any of those. Back to the original matter, they were delivered from Saudi Arabia to their terrorist friends, the Syrian Army captured a fair amount of chemicals following the liberation of Eastern Aleppo.

Either you are with Syria or you are with the Islamic State. Those are your two options. Trump seems to have made his crystal clear, just like Obama before him.

Strange considering all his talk of how important defeating the Islamic State was to him during the campaign trail. That's politicians for you.

So how did ISIS drop them, from the SU-22 copies they have built/stole? Or were they waiting, in a rebel held town, just for the day assad would strike and somehow deploy them through witchcraft?

Strange how the US have assisted Iraq in clearing out ISIS in their country and yet are supporting them in Syria.

Strange how they supported the Kurds in Iraq against ISIS but support ISIS against the Kurds in Syria.

The only thing that is crystal clear is that Assad needs to go, then ISIS.

You ok with Assad?

Do you believe that "a legitimate investigation" could have been carried out and achieved the same results? Or are you good with letting atrocities happen and escalate to the point where dictators do what they do as long as nothing is done about it?

How many lifes were lost because of this "attack"?
How many were saved?
