To me is like everything in politics and I have seen a lot, since the Watergate days, This will be the seed that needs to be planted to bring more confusion and destabilization within our own political system.

Finding a fall guy as in this case Russia will exonerate or at least that is what the end result be those that are behind these hearings agenda.

Politics in our modern days are so dirty that nobody is coming out smelling like roses, perhaps with the exception of Hillary she will be the victim so she can have another chance to elections in 2020.

Because lets face it, American people like drama, intrigue and dirty and no necessarily have to be true facts.

What stops anyone from posting fake stories, including our own Intel agencies?

What level of censorship are we willing to allow?

They keep talking about acting urgently, but what do they want to Do? They are using terms like war, attack, etc.

If the committee has to delve into the deeper aspects of what the CIA does, they will have to take the hearings behind closed doors. Although, everyone knows about the microwave oven, TV, cellphone, spy techniques now.

Yes, is all Russians fault, hell I bet the 2008 market crash was also Russians fault, they are to become the fall guy for the benefit of American politicians shortcomings that people has been soo tired off.

Is more to the whole pony show that you can every imagine, is a warfare on the US citizens minds and our own leaders are wagging that war.

and while you worry about weiner getting off, I know people who've been outed from our navy because of the porn that was found on their computers, that they claim they knew nothing about...

The Russians have to be gloating over how successful they were. We're proving their success to them. What a shame.

But, it is really the Russians? doing all this like our own leaders claim?

Or it is our own intelligence agencies doing the mind warfare and then trying to show that is Russia the one doing it.

After all wikileaks releasing information on how deceptive the spying agencies are has been very damaging to our own nations integrity.

Think about it.

People have a tendency to trust government, in this times of so much turmoil people wants to be reassured that things are ok, that US is still a nation to be Trusted with the truth.

In other words people are still very gullible in this time and age.

I'm not worried about anyone getting off - just making observations. Of course these implications apply to all of us, really.

I mean - what stops someone caught with illicit stuff on their computer from saying they never saw it and it must have been the russians?

Exactly!!!!!!!! somebody have to take the fault for shortcomings, is all about shortcomings and to keep the population trusting and faithful on our political system.

When people are confronted with the realization that they screw up what is the first thing they do, rarely some take responsibility when is always somebody else to blame for it.

Ummm...BINGO...I wouldn't believe anything coming out of our 17 intelligence agencies even if Jesus the Christ came to my door in a cloud and handed me a copy...

This whole dog and pony show is a charade...and one with CIA fingerprints all over it...It's all designed to take the herd animals minds off of the Other story...that no one wants to talk about...

and you don't think that I've considered the idea that they are setting up a fall guy for the next big economic collapse, or that they are trying to justify the clampdown of the internet and exert more control over what we can have access to?

but there is also a possibility that some one, weather it be russia or someone else is doing just what they are claiming...
and if they are then it is in our best interest that we find a way both as a nation, and individually, to counteract what they are doing. we can't do that as our nation if it's dragged into the politcal arena, and we can't do it individually unless we begin to scrutinize what "facts" are coming across our computer and tv screens.

Thank you, you have more insight than you think, when something doesn't add up you know deep inside that is something wrong with the whole thing.

The Russians blame didn't started recently is been in the making for years and now is the right time to use it for deflection purposes.

Yes I have considered all of the above and more, after all I would not be here if I didn't have a very active conspirators mind, Russia is not innocent they have as much dirt and corruption as any other country that are fighting for been the number one superpower, that is why it makes them a big target.

The implications and results of the hearings and what will mean to us the people is still to come.

And what it hurts me the most is that is gong to be many that will applaud the "measures that the government and spying agencies will take to keep us safe, trusting and faithful"

How much free speech will be eroded after this is just mind blowing.

What bugs me most about all this "Russia hacked the election" talk is that no one seems to care that any Presidential candidate, regardless of political affiliation, has to kneel and kiss Israel's backside to have any chance at all of becoming POTUS. Why is no one looking into the Mossad's potential influence in US elections?

Because they are not the fall guy on this time of deflection.

Good grief. I don't know why I'm shocked that many of you will climb a tree to believe lies, when you could open your eyes and see what's happening.

It was asked what Russia does to interfere with the elections of other countries (not U.S.) and the response was "they destroy the character of the person they don't want to win". Apparently their current focus is on Ms. Merkel of Germany, and the French elections. We call them "trolls". Russia calls the tens of thousands of them "cyber warriors".

But, you don't believe Russia tried to sway our election, but you believe Hillary Clinton is a serial killer, a child molester, and a thief.

Alrighty then.
Happy Russia pizza gate.

I think they should make it policy that when people are testifying they should be hooked up to a lie detector. But they would probably break the machines with all their lies

so, why pick russia as the scapegoat? if we wanted an excuse to go to war, then why not pick a country that we have at least a chance of surviving a war with and not a nuclear power that has probably enough nukes to wipe out all life on earth three times over? add our nuclear capabilities to that and we probably could create a new asteroid belt.

we have about 95% of the population believing just about every thing that doesn't coincide with what they want to believe is fake while the other 5% has come to the conclusion that you just can't believe anything whatsoever unless you see it first hand...
I don't see how that helps anyone, dem or republican, holding power in our country. they are just as likely as anyone else to find their head on the chopping block.

So, if Russia doing it without evidence = bad/illegal wouldn't the DNC doing it with evidence = treason?

I don't have any opinion on those wild HTC claims. I know she's a liar, and a criminal (That is, if you believe it to be a crime to destroy subpoenaed evidence... which I do). Those are verifiable facts, so...
