My Project Over the Last Few Days (do not flag)

Over the last few days, I completed a project.

I posted videos on the social walls of about 17 members. I then told them and why.

I didn't for any mods. There are too many and I like all of them, so I decided to not send to mods.

I did send to SO, though.

I put a lot of thought into each choice. Not just based on what I thought of the person, but also what I thought would make them happy.

I am thinking that if we all did this, not 17 people at a time, maybe one every so often and sent a little note, it might unify us more. And via using a tool we have at our fingertips.

I could only do so many. I might do it again. Maybe just for mods next time. But others could copy this

NOTE: I don't want this thread flagged or starred. I did the video posting and messages in a way that doesn't get them, so I don't want this thread getting them.

Truthfully, the people I sent to were generally those that inspire me and normally line up with my beliefs. But not all. But the videos posted were not political in nature. They were ALL music videos. The messages after were not political in nature.

Good on you Reldra.
A friend of mine and I decided to use our walls a little more often and it's been fun. Who doesn't like to see the little white envelope that they have a message? Okay, bad example but, y'know what I mean.

I used it to send 'Christmas Cards' to some of my closest buds. It was fun.

It's part of the dynamic so why not use it?

Anyway, I'm gonna flag this thread cause you can't tell me what to do LOL...well, you can but, I don't listen so well.

You don't want flags? Here are some flags anyway.

Periodically I realize that someone with differing outlooks that me is someone I admire, and I reach out to them. There are a few of you that likely know what i mean, as we have chatted in PM's about all sorts of things. Sometimes I may just be a quick, "You're a badass " to more detail. Its typically when I see well thought out, well considered points, ideas, and perspectives.

I don't like echo chambers too much, so won't often reach out to people with similar ideologies to me. Its mostly only people who are somehow in contrast to me. Reldra, I think you know what im talking about here, iirc.

Myself and Bally PM all the time , also we may have at times hijacked a thread with our seafood banter.lol. Pretty sure one day we will catch up and if we do it will be the biggest thing i can take away from ATS .

I've met an ATSer. He worked in the area for awhile so we met up. No one else has been to this god forsaken desert.

There are many folks here I'd enjoy a shared meal with. Maybe a couple i'd actually hang out with frequently. BUt my social circle is extremely small, and not easy to get into.

Bally if i remember correctly is over 1500 ks away . Northern NSW if i remember rightly . Pretty sure if we meet it will involve a fishing trip . Mud crabs or blue swimmers , who cares .
