The world only know my pen name
My face in your books I never show
For my purpose is not fame
But hope do I hope to sow.
I could be this old man you walked past
This man whose eyes are tired
Yet whose mind is still fast
Smile, give me a reason to admire.
I have seen lifetimes
Pillars of darkness
Many roads I climb
I am here, timeless.
I could be this homeless you see
Holding on to nothing,
His eyes with sadness misty
Lend a hand, let a poor man feel human.
I soar in the highest sky
The wind dances with my mind
Upon the earth I walk by
And new dreams do I find.
I could be this young man you met
His face confident yet his soul so old
Holding a briefcase, heading into the sunset
Be kind of your actions, I care not for your gold.
I have peered into the secrets of nature
I make my way shining but yet invisible
Next time you see someone, do not be so sure
It might be me, thriving to give you hope invincible.
