He didn't win the popular vote as of today these are the totals.
Donald Trump 60,350,241 (47.3%)
Hillary Clinton 60,981,118 (47.79%)
And a lot of uncounted votes are in California and new York so odds are good it's not going to change.

The MAJORITY of people voted for someone not named Clinton.
The POPULAR VOTE went against CLinton.
The argument can be easily turned around by replacing 'Clinton' with 'Trump'. Neither one was able to get a majority.

No it can't.
Because of the electoral vote.
That takes in to consideration of multiple candidates.

Here is a simple question for you. Did either candidate get 50% of the popular vote?
If 'no' that means that more than half of the country did not vote for that person.

Just look at the county by county maps in an entire USA map and you will see what neo96 means. It shows that in most states a majority of Trump winning more counties except the big metropolis city's county which Clinton won, but the most county's belong to a Trump win, hence the electoral college win for Trump.
